I walked past a house last night that had the full Xmas decorations up, tree(s), lights, the whole nine yards.

Anyone known the official date for Xmas erections?

Well apparently the most babies are born August and early September so the official date would probably be about...now! :)

Those electric revolving doors. Not keen on the revolving door in the first place as I don't see how it speeds up or contributes anything but the electric ones are worse. They just slam to a halt if you get in slightly to close to when it's closed and you nearly walk into the front of it.

Automatic doors that don't open quickly enough as I approach them forcing me to stop

I'm reminded of the hazy days of TTTAY part 1, and Eisenberg running around with his man bits in his hand! :D

Shopping online and things that are actually good deals are gone. Argos sending me emails telling me to buy XYZ, well guess what, I cant buy XY or Z if you don't f*cking have them in ANY of your stores! Also Amazon, pages and pages of stuff and I get goggley eyed going through it. Eventually find what I am looking for and realize it's "used".

It's the 8th of December as far as I know. That's what I go by anyway, and all the erections to be down on the 6th of January. Any erections up after this date will be penalised .

It's been the same for me. I do love a bargain and was going to get a few things in the sales, but whenever I really like something it's not available. Argos annoys me the most, why bother listing stuff that's not even available anywhere?

Trying to buy a laptop on Amazon. It's advertised as £239 and when I put it in the basket it's £239 but when I proceed to checkout it's £245! Wtf?? Plus don't mention to absolute cr*p that is the exchange rate at the moment. Inclusing post, the order comes in at €380 :(

Obviously hoping that we came down in the last shower and will be distracted by some glittery tat that we don't need but want to buy anyway.

They apply the Irish VAT rate at check out, the price on the website include the UK VAT rate which is 'only' 20%

This Black Friday thing is annoying me so much. Initially I resisted it, but having spent the day being bombarded by emails and the like, I've been having a sneak peak but most of the stuff is sh*t. Anything I do want only has about 5% off. And now I'm worried that if I buy it now, at midnight it will be further reduced, but if I don't buy it now, it will be gone. Do I just wait, poised, at my laptop at the stroke of midnight or something? This is mindless torture...I mean, trivially annoying :P
