The Russians are showing off (both in the dramatic and salesman meanings of the word) and showing they can attack a country by firing a missile from two countries away.

It must be terrible to see your loved ones dead on live leak surrounded by a gang of apes shouting Allah Akbar.

Fcuk me, I hope to all that's decent you don't live in Ireland, a fcukin new low has been reached with that statement.

    What the fook.
They didn't wipe the floor with the NVA.
And bombing Cambodia didn't mean any game was over.

The only way the US could have won was if they actually had invaded North Vietnam which they never offically did.
They couldn't save Suth Vietnam with airpower alone.
You will never win a war with airpower alone even now.

    Bullsh** whataboutery.

The Irish fought based on whether you were for the treaty or against it.
They didn't fight based on if you were Catholic or Protestant which actually would probably have been the case if all 32 counties were given independence.

And they didn't fight each other based on if they were O'Neills, Burkes, Ryans or whatever bloody bloodline they belonged to.

And we didn't decide to start slaughtering people in other countries until the PIRA arrived much later.

Did ya ever see those old black and white films where the lead girl gets all hysterical and the lead actor gives her a sharp slap in the face and then she calms down? For some reason I picture John Wayne doing that to you after this post.

    Eh yes we did.

The Fenians did a fair bit of it back in the day.

The Old IRA were enthusiastic about it but lacked the resources to really get it going.

The IRA had a bash at it in the 40s

And of course, the hero of moderate Ireland, John Redmond, sent Irish lads off to slaughter a huge amount of people in other countries. But that was completely different apparently :D

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, of course. You should know though that opinions are like arseholes, everyone's got one, some of them are sh!tty.

I find yours in the latter category.

I'm lucky enough to live in a country where I can express mine freely(as you can too, unfortunately.)

These people for the most part can't. Suppression leads to aggression against the suppressor. It becomes the last resort for most people.

You feel it's OK to call them apes? Have you fought in a war? Experienced a war take place when you didn't want it to happen, and have no means to escape it?

Would you even fight a war for your beliefs ?!? Go fight the "apes" so. Fcukin disgusting post. Apes? There's more humanity and emphaty in the vast, vast majority of the poor souls in that region than there seems to be in your "brain".

Ffs, you just confirmed my thoughts in the the post you replied to, I genuinely hope you're not an Irish citizen, we don't need that sort of people here.

He's not the one empathizing with terrorists, you are. Even the nazis and soviets largely refrained from shooting pilots who had parachuted from their planes let alone do it with the disgusting enthusiasm and glee that these guys are. It's right to call these people disgusting cowards or any other words of opprobrium.

Read back on my posts, I don't sympathise with anyone in this stuff, of course it's terrible that that should happen to a helpless person in such a situation. Where did I ever say it wasn't ? I also don't believe I said, in any post, that anyone is sympathising with terrorists, Ive only been presenting points from both sides(as I see it)

And to think that it wasn't a common occurrence for both allied and axis soldiers to "largely" refrain from shooting at bailed pilots is nonsense. The vast majority(on both sides) would have been taking pot shots at them, to think otherwise is daft.
Just think, if you're under a bombing run and they get shot down, bail out, and drift into your sights, what do you think you would do in the heat of battle?

It's human nature to retaliate, to think otherwise is very naive.

It's all well and good having the Geneva convention in place, but it's very rarely followed in modern warfare, nobody abides by it.

Can you imagine if the Turks shot down a US or UK jet and then killed the pilots...there would be uproar

All this talk about flying over Turkish airspace...it was matter of seconds
Hardly deserves death ....and those Turk Syrian rebels do noting without the say so of the Turkish government

Why is Turkey in NATO...a more duplicitous terrorists supporting immoral group I would be hard pushed to find

They have pushed for the overthrow of Assad and armed rebels
Not to mention how they treat the Kurds

But that all pales into insignificance with the bombing and destruction of a Russian jet and murder of pilots.....

Things have now escalated onto a different plane

They were supposedly Turkmen a ethic minority that's been oppressed by the assad regime for a long time ,
They supposedly have close ties to Turkey and their government,

Now I say supposedly my posts seem to be deemed offensive to some circles

Explain why would the Turks shot down NATO planes. One does Realise who is in NATO yes and What NATO means ?

And to be honest it seems this has all been a ploy for Russia to possibly deploy advanced sam systems in Syria and stop NATO air power acting in the Area. Dangerous game.

Yes we know what it means to be in NATO..still does not take from the point if any country shot down an US jet....
And to think Russia had there own jet shot down as a ploy ...lol...crazy bias conspiracy slant with no evidence or justification...try staying out of cuckoo land if you want people to take you seriously

yeah, i was just saying i don’t think the turkish government had anything to do with the murdering of the pilot after the shooting-down of his plane…think that was just plain islamist scumbag aggression for its own sake…

Why would Turkey shoot down an American Plane ? And no CT needed Russia has already mentioned moving Advance Sam's to the area. We already know they play the long game, Downing of this plane is a perfect excuse to deploy them in Syria and Make it extremely difficult for anyone other than Russia or it's allies to operate in Syria. We all know they Want Assad to stay in power Deploying Sams that can shoot down planes at a 400 mile range would stop NATO deploying Air power. That means NATO would have to counter or Destroy Russian equipment in the area. And I cant see NATO going to war over Syria with Russia.

Not true at all, german pilots on the eastern front used to bail out below the cloud cover wherever possible because russian pilots had a habit of shooting parachutes

you can be sure both sides did it from the ground too

Do you not agree that seeing a family member dead surrounded by a gloating mob would be fairly distressing? Imagine being that pilots son and watching the video...

That is all I am agreeing with, you can get caught up in the way it was phrased if you want, doesn't bother me.

Of course it would be distressing for them, I never said it wouldn't be, calling them apes is a bit much though, do you not think that the shooter's may be a bit distressed seeing civilians/comrades/towns being flattened by bombs? War doesn't exactly bring out the humanity in people. And it is absolutely bull**** that in ww2 troops "largely refrained" Shaft from that sort of thing.

Not outraged, more disturbed we have people with that sort of mindset in this country.

Yeah, the natural reaction of locals whose village was flattened would be to offer a downed pilot a cup of tea and a biccie.

Were you drunk when you posted this emotional irrational screed?

Its perfectly logical to describe the gibbering snack bars as apes given their screechs and whoops of joy as they fired countless rounds into the parachuting pilot. You do know they usually torture and behead people, that display of barbarity was tame by their standards.

Also, lol at "we dont need that sort of people here", the type of people we dont need are open border cucks, commies and the other assorted fifth columnists that have no loyalty to their fellow Irish people and history.
