So Russia invading airspace was never an act of war ? You know as they were warned not to do it again.

No, this has been done to death, violating someones airspace is not an act of war, and you would have to be very stupid to respond to it by shooting down the offending plane, especially considering the circumstances, eg they werent flying a squadron towards Ankara.
There is clearly a protocal when this happens and Turkey went outside of that, hence the outrage, if what Turkey did was standard practice, it would just be a case of shrugging our shoulders and moving on, but its not, Turkey ****ed up big time. Its time to return it to the Greeks.

You just hate Russia don't you. If they wanted they could turn Turkey into ash within a few days, but luckily Putin is not a physcopath.

I hope Putin lights up Turkey tonight, Erdogan is a Muslim terrorist and a strategic Cruise Missile fired from the Black Sea would quickly neutralize the Turkish if they could eliminate Erdogan. Nato are too frightened to act and Putin should call their bluff and start a campaign of retribution against the Turks. Obama is fully behind Islamic State and Syria is just like the Spanish Civil War a training ground for the bigger battle ahead.

    lolz.

Sorry, but that has to be the biggest load of BS I've read in a long time.

Obama being behind ISIS despite ISIS existing long before he came into office, Russia wiping Turkey off the map,...

    This isn't Call of Duty.

People thinking Turkey would be wiped from the face of the earth haven't got a clue. Turkey has about 60-70 US nuclear weapons on it's soil, Moscow would be ash before Turkey would get hit.
Stop fantasizing about things that will never happen.

How is flying into Turkeys airspace for a few seconds an act of war? Why on earth woukd Russia attack Turkey? Get a grip of yourself ffs.

Same logic of shooting down a Innocent Russian jet on it's way to the shop is an act of war. You know after already breaching Turkeys airspace before and repeatedly warned not to do so. See what ignoring got them.

Hate to break it to one, But there have always been and always will be Islamic extremism in the area. They were killing each other well before the west got involved and will be well after the west get the hell out. So again Why will Russia be shooting down NATO aircraft invading it's Airspace.

There was no Isis or Al Quaeda in Iraq pre 2001. That war set the whole region on fire and was the biggest recruiting tool the head choppers and heart eaters could of ever dreamed of.

What's standard practice about breaching someone's airspace before, then being warned diplomatically. Warn for weeks not to do it then finally shot down. No act of war there at all.

Nato members and Russia have been breaching each others airspace for the best part of the last century, standard practice is to escort them out, not shoot them down, shooting planes down is an unsustainable practice.

I dont like the man either, but he is not the one supporting Isis, like the Turkish are, and you seem to be doing a lot of defending for them, even justifying this attack on the Russian jet.

No, I'm just pointing out that while Putin isn't helping out ISIS like the Turks are, the guy he's supporting in this mess is as much of a bastard.

They where in there airspace for no longer than 1 minute. Fine if they kept on breaching it on several occasions and went right into Turkish airspace, but this was right on the border, surely the Turks should have some common sense and give them some sort of leeway.

I suppose Russia could close off gas supplies to Turkey but I guess Turkey are alright as they get oil from ISIS & Saudia Arabia

    I am lost. 2 questions...
Do the US and UK support the Assad regime or not?
If they support the rebels, how do they know which rebels are not muslim extremists?

Utv Ireland say plane crashed in Syria.

So that means the plane was shot in Syrian airspace.

Dosent really matter where the plane was shot down Putin will make up his own story to suit himself as he is a head the ball. Point is its all playing into the hands of ISIS, everybody takes their eye off the ball over this and suddenly BANG ISIS score a big hit on New York London Paris ..........its all getting a bit scary out there.

The Russian pilots getting a "welcome" from the "moderate rebels". Putin should turn that place into glass.
    Religion of peace.

horrible and doesn’t get much lower, truly the scum of the earth…yet if they were to move to germany they would be welcomed and get free hugs…

They already did. Warned Russia diplomatically weeks ago and for weeks. One is acting like Russia accidentally flew in for the first time and the Death star de-cloaked and took out an entire Russian fighter wing.

they weren't warned, they hardly even went into turkish airspace at all. turkey are liars and cannot be trusted themselves

Its a minefield..(no pun intended) ..nobody really knows who is an extremist and who is not ..depends on your definition

And people are changing sides ( i mean the big players)

I guess there are no real good guys/bad guys ...except ISIS .(well at least for UK)...sorry

Have to say I am not the greatest fan of Putin but if I were to get behind anyone to get rid of ISIS he be the man

Dear god is anyone not a liar in ones book little point asking really. One does know this has happened weeks ago. And that Russia has been warded diplomatically since then repeatedly not to do this and then is surprised something that was said to happen happened.

Warning them for what. There bombing Isis on the Syrian/Turkish border. Why couldnt they just sort these incursions out politically instead of blowing the jet out of the sky? If anybody is the aggressors here its the Turks. They were the first to draw blood.
