Day to day it may be impractical but doable as I go fairly often to the EU either for work or road trips to Italy so I don't mind the idea of a LHD car in Ireland.
But it will be at least a year before that happens.

Why do you live in Poland either way? :pac:

I know where you bought the car, funnily enough I was passing by last month! :D

I never really record mpg, I know the proper way is brim to empty, but I'll forget. Taking a little snapshot of todays driving, the result is as follows. Circa 70 miles, just over an eight of a tank (bang on the full mark last night). Bear in mind that's very spirited driving, harsh cornering, sharp braking, very windy roads. Seems to be quite a reasonable result??

Top of the tank is bigger than the bottom. The top bit always takes longer to go than the bottom bit.

You could refill the car now to see how much/little you used.

How much importance would anyone here put into spending a lot on a car for a bit of badge snobbery?

Buddy of mine has a 5 series yet it's barely driven,so little that the battery keeps dying in it.He's now on about upgrading it.From what I can see,the car is an expensive ornament on the driveway. He'd be better served with a cheap runaround to load the kids into as he drives a work vehicle 5 or 6 days a week and might only drive the Beemer 5 km's at most on the odd weekend. He's more interested in the year and make of the car than the practical element of having one.Having something worth nearly €20k sitting there and never driven is madness but he seems to like the status of having it.

    That's totally stupid, it's probably a 520d too!

How'd you guess? He won't let his missus drive it either, she drives her own car only.
We all take the piss out of him for having it and the most underused Sat Nav in the world.

That thing must hate its life :)

Well if he's doing it for the image then the 520d is the generic choice!

Surly if he only drives 5km a week that will create problems with a diesel engine down the line, if not already?

Course it will, but people don't know these things for the most part.
It'll probably cripple the next owner!

You're not going to hear this from me very often, but that kind of mileage is a case for walking! :pac:

Both activities are good in terms of health. I wonder though, what could possibly happen to you while cycling? They're not exactly car or bear magnets. :pac:

    Yeah, it is haha.

If you drive towards Lipsko through Zwolen, you'd see even more of them!

(Missus lives in Radom :P )

No offence but I cant stand the place :P I was amazed to be honest at just how many there were. You're literally spoilt for choice.
