    Sidelocks indeed.

Memphis has clearly been watching Scrubs and was influenced by janitor, we shall see more I think.

    Wasn't expecting that.
Guess that involves all games and not games they are looking for the win or the draw so kinda skews it a bit.

My point was there was a lot of games under fergie that were dire and there has been a trend of looking back glorifying those years.
We will probably do it in 5 years time saying what great foundations were laid down today.

    I was just reading that

    This stands out
At half time the hosts were met with deafening jeers and whistles as the home fans waved white handkerchiefs – a traditional gesture of disgust in Spanish football.

And those handkerchiefs came out again as Iniesta, captaining Barcelona for the first time in a clásico, smashed home an emphatic third.

Messi came off the bench to assist the fourth goal, scored by Suarez, which sent home fans for the exits.

I don't see why you shouldn't be able to discuss different teams in a superthread, people often take most sense when speaking about opposition teams.

I felt dirty after thanking this post

Who carries handkerchiefs nowadays, it's not the 1950s?

De Gea liked a tweet from Adidas congratulating Suarez earlier. David De Staya.

Surely if you are going to read into it the more obvious one is David De Goa to Barcelona

He started off magnificently. Then the Arsenal game happened, and it strikes me LVG hasn't regained trust in him since then :/

Another good weekend for us. What a result. You might say the result of champions there scoring that late after going level ;)

Also nice to see people coming alive to Lukaku. He is a monster. We should be putting pressure on Everton in the summer for him.

Isn't Madrid his desured location because his missus is based out of there? If she can't base herself out of Barcelona then what is the difference between Manchester or Barcelona, from a long distance POV?

If they are now okay with the distance thing, then Barcelona being an incredible team might turn his head. But I still think he is Madrid bound, which is **** because he is on top of his game right now.

just watched that Memphis/Schweinsteiger post match interview.

Either Memphis doesn't give a single s**t about the media or he is hella nervous :D

I'd imagine it's both. I'd be flicking the V's if I was him lately to the media giving him an unjust rough time

Especially Dutch media. Cause a kid is supposed to carry Holland through qualifiers, never mind dog**** Van Persie etc., you know, players with experience

As someone that only valued numbers, we're now solid 20% shots for the league, from close to half that. Great fcuking day

Liked what I saw from Memphis today. Our best player with DeGea. Apart from scoring a nice goal his work rate was good, kept the ball well when under pressure and used it well too. A good reaction from having being dropped and to the feedback he would have received I guess. Has had so much over the top shîte written about him by the press for such a young guy in a new league in a new team which was a big step up.

If we're actually going to spend crazy money on a player, why not try for Neymar or Bale? Don't see the point in us signing up to the Ronaldo retirement tour.
