Ah, no I meant an adapter on the phone end. To turn the micro USB connection at the phone end into a USB-C type to suit the OnePlus 2. So you can use existing cables.

    http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B013RMG5S8?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00

They have gone up a bit in price since I ordered them (they were 4.99 sterling then) but they are still fairly cheap - and do the job changing all those micro usb cables into one plus 2 friendly ones
Cheers man, That's the best value I've seen and for a pack of three and all! I may just have to keep the OP2 now!

Unfortunately you'll probably get caught with postage from the UK - however even allowing for that they are good value.

From what I can see the quality is as good as the one that I bought with my oneplus 2 (they have them in the oneplus store as well btw)

Got an op2 invite yesterday. Up to now hadn't really been tempted to upgrade from my OPO but CEX offered me €244 cash for it so seriously thinking about it now.

I actually sent back a Nexus 6p recently - too big and realised that I don't like AMOLED screens. Plus I couldn't really see a difference between QHD and 1080p. I was also considering a LG G4 and tried one out briefly in Derry. Found it a bit plasticky (this was a black leather one too!), don't like the LG branding on the front and would be concerned re battery life with the QHD screen.

Anyway just wondering it it's worth upgrading from my OPO to the OP2:

Is the screen any better? Any reports of yellow band at the bottom ala opo?

Is it true that the speaker is quieter but has better bass?

Just how much better is the camera especially in low light?

Was thinking of getting a rosewood back - are they any good?

What's delivery time like these days?

Not really that bothered about lack of nfc - I would only use it for Android pay but I can't see it catching on here anytime soon.

Just saw this on a games forum.

The OnePlus Power Bank (Black Version) is €8 on the site - https://oneplus.net/ie/oneplus-power-bank

    I think it's €6.90 shipping (I can't check, I'm not a member).

Sorry if it has been answered already but I couldn't find it. What is the price of the 16GB OP2? I see that the 64GB is €400 but seems that the 16GB is currently out of stock I can't check it. Also how much is shipping for them?

Don't know what price the 16gb is but you'd be mental to buy it anyway. The 64 is the only game in town.

    Hi lads... apologies if this has been asked and answered already but has anybody got an online insurance crowd to insure their OnePlus2. I've asked the likes of gadget insurance will they insure it and they just send me back the terms and conditions which says this;

The gadget has to be under 24 months old and must have been purchased from new by you in the Republic of Ireland, UK or US.

i.e. even though it can only be bought online (I've even sent them the URL) strictly speaking it does not look like their policy will cover it. I've asked them Yes or No do you insure the OnePlus2 bought here - https://oneplus.net/ie/2, and they will not give me a Yes or No.

Don't oneplus have their own insurance scheme?

Tks, if they have I've not heard about it. I did a quick search on line but didn't find anything.

    My phone is still uninsured.

    OnePlus EU insurance

Phone has to be less than 15 days old. I don't think theft is covered but price seems very reasonable.

Is anyone else having problems with the new Apple Music app? I'm not subscribed to Apple Music, but the "Radio" tab should still work. The issue is that the Radio page never loads for me. It stays white. A friend of mine (who also owns a OP2) has the exact same issue.

I've been in touch with Apple Music support and they think it might be a manufacturer issue. I'd really appreciate if you guys with OP2s could tell me if you've got it working?

I'm desperate to tune in to the Beats1 station - love it.

Another small issue is sometimes the brightness seems to go up and down on it's own. The actual slider doesn't move but there's a definate brightening and darkening of the screen.

Check if adaptive brightness is turned on under display in settings.

Interesting thread on this issue on the opo2 forums.

Can any owners say what the camera is like? And how quick it launches? Tied between OP2 and Galaxy S6. And leaning towards 6 just cos how quick it can open. So camera is clincher for me!

Might be worth having a look at the LG G4 for the camera aswell:

Camera launches really quick and snaps quickly too. You can also launch the camera from idle using gesture commands. It's good.

It doesn't launch any faster/slower than any other phone Ive had. I have it set to launch when I double tap the fingerprint scanner, but recently it stopped working properly

Not a great camera. You can get great shots out of it in certain conditions but generally slow and unusable in low light/indoors at night. Even though it has laser assisted autofocus, its poor at capturing moving subjects even at a slow pace. Ive missed far to many pics of my kids because of this crap camera, I don't even use it anymore. Id recommend the S6 if camera is a clincher.

Have you tried using the gesture control to launch the camera? Works every time.
