At a certain point, you have to ask if Islam is compatible with life in a secular, western country.

    It's not that simple.

Never cause for concern because there's a billion Muslims all around the world, and thus it's a small minority.

Does that rhetoric ever change ? When can we be worried ? When thousands die ? Tens of thousands ?

no other religion cause so much trouble globally, down to and including killing themselves and others in the process. I am happy to mingle with every race going and work in one of the most diverse workplaces in the UK btw.

Good to see the media doing the right thing about reporting Bataclan events, of course social media may not be so responsible.

I think they may be going in already. Alot of ambulances on the move.

They have two very capable police units that can do it along with the military

This is a seriously fúcked up way of thinking.

Sending those willing to integrate back to the places they were trying to get away from is just immoral and tars everyone with the same brush.

It's not, why can't our people live seperate to Muslims, let those Islamic State do what they want in their lands and Europeans in ours. European Colonisation was universally condemned and Islamic Colonisation (which is what this is) should be condemned too. The PC liberals are the fault of all this, people should stay in their own lands and Islam should be removed from any true western society.

They might have to wait for military specialists on this one .
If they haven't already gone in

    They have gone in according to eye-witness reports;
“It was carnage,” said Marc Coupris, 57, still shaking after being freed from the hostage-taking at the Bataclan concert venue. “It looked like a battlefield, there was blood everywhere, there were bodies everywhere. I was at the far side of the hall when shooting began. There seemed to be at least two gunmen. They shot from the balcony. Everyone scrabbled to the ground. I was on the ground with a man on top of me and another one beside me up against a wall. We just stayed still like that. At first we kept quiet. I don’t know how long we stayed like that, it seemed like an eternity. I saw my last final unfurl before me, I thought this was the end. I thought I’m finished, I’m finished. I was terrified. We must all have thought the same. Eventually, when a few gendarmes came in slowly we began to look up and there was blood absolutely everywhere. The police told us to run.

There is no war where you only kill the really really really bad guys. Unfortunately or otherwise, once you start deploying actual soldiers trained and conditioned to be shock troops, with high tech weaponry a lot of people die. Hopefully *mostly* really really really bad guys.

But it is a far journey from being a convinced pacifist to being someone who is okay with a neutral term like "collateral damage".

Doesn't make a single difference to my point. I know they are more likely to kill other Muslims, but that is just another sentence that doesn't make a single difference when it comes to these scumbags.

'They kill more Muslims than Westerners', so ****ing what.

The world has experienced a spree of terrorist attacks. The Russian plane bombing. The Turkish bombing, the attacks in Latakia and Beirut and now in Paris. They are becoming a lot more bolder.

They have lost the fear of the big Nations and feel free to hit out at all targets they deem deserving of wrath. The sinister part is that following the bombing of the Russian plane their spokespeople were actually gloating.

They seem to get a buzz out of inflicting so much violence against innocent civilians. They have their own pirated television and radio stations so they are receiving cash from somewhere. Another fear is the whole affiliate term is being thrown around a lot lately, Affiliates of Al Qaeda, Affiliate of ISIS, Affiliates of Jihad. We seem to get a lot of these organisations cooperating with each other for the sole purpose of committing violence.

We have entered a new age where Islamists are using our technology against us. They are miles ahead of our security services. They use technology as an instrument of war as we did in the early 20th century only this time they deliberately harm innocent civilians instead of the military and like to project a religious dominated hierarchy that wants to control everyone. Scary guys all not far from the coast of Europe.

The dilemma facing Europe and the US is that we don't use our best instincts against what is a vicious movement. To much concessions to the hardline Islamists is what is weaken us and allowing us to play right into their hands. The funds keep going their way and Europe is not taking decisive action to cut off this flow of billions and personnel to the camps all across the countries these guys are located in.

The USA was gone from Iraq by the time Daesh got started, they could have used any number of peaceful tactics to push their cause. Or they could have fought against the military only and not kill/rape/enslave civilian populations, they DID have choices but you're pushing that what they did was effectively pre-determined. You're coming very close to justifying what Daesh do, despite how vociferously you protest that you don't.
Now is not the time for that neo-liberal s hite talk. You are getting very close to justifying the actions of ISIS even though your trying to disguise your intent by using the pseudonym Daesh!!
