This is bad news. Any country sitting on the fence will jump in now and ones that are aiding logistically will step up operations. I predict an all out war. Sad day.

But an all out war against who? Who is the enemy?

The problem is (in France) that they are the enemy within. They are the eneny embedded within the French population, so how do you hit them back? How do you contain them? How do you bring them to justice?

My thoughts and prayers are with the French people tonight.

I think it's best to leave that to the experts actually on the scene, maybe people sitting behind a keyboard without a clue and calling for raids should shut up.
Your right, experts are best. Like the security experts who didn't see any of this coming.

It most certainly is a problem and those who engage in it are scumbags, but like the spate of mass shootings by young social outcasts in the US, it has a root cause which many simply refuse to acknowledge. The West treats the Middle East and the real, living human beings who live there as some kind of ant farm toy. Those who grow up in the West and are ethnically related to those people, however distantly, and see that on television are growing up in a world which they believe doesn't respect them as humans.

If you make people feel like they're not respected as humans, they will not behave like humans. The exact same phenomenon is behind the mass shootings in US schools. They're perpetrated by people with a justified victim complex, and like it or not, Western civilisation needs to do something about that or this sh!t will keep happening.

I await the hordes of eejits who will regard what I've posted as a defense of the terrorists: It's not. They're scumbags. I've said that before and I have no problem saying it again. But like anything undesirable, there are reasons it exists. And as uncomfortable as it may seem, the disgusting behaviour of our governments in the West is one of those reasons.

To give you an analogy, nobody likes having a rat infestation but one of the root causes of that is bad hygiene, and that's something the homeowner is responsible for.

I'm totally onside with this. I remember posting about Islamism before on After Hours and I acknowledged foreign policy (should have mentioned it in my last reply along with the other points)

I agree with the views about Bush and Blairs war crimes. I hope to see Blair sent to the Hague at some point, can't see it happening to Bush unfortunately.

I live in London mate, believe me Ireland is in the ha'penny place when it comes to Muslim's.

We have entire towns which are 60-70% Muslim. Ireland should hold out against this tide while it still can.

I think the civilised world needs to have a serious discussion around Islam and whether it can ever be welcome here. It's fine saying we can't tar brush an entire religion because of the actions of a few, but it's also the only religion which ever pops up during this type of event.

They want us all dead, it's in their book. ISIS have massive support among ordinary Muslims a fact conveniently forgot by leftie liberal types.

A discussion would be only going through hoops of political correctness.
The answer is clear, it cannot. We are well beyond medieval murderous brainwashing. We have nothing to gain by being in any way contaminated by it.

A nuclear cleansing of Raqqa would be a good start.

Some might survive, no one will if they do f*ck all.

It may result in the deaths of a far greater number of civilians, police and army. Seriously, leave this to people who are trained and have experience in dealing with terrorism.

Yes..because the police can read the minds of people who formulate these plans in secret and carry them out at the drop of a hat.

At a certain point, you have to ask if Islam is compatible with life in a secular, western country.

    What do we do?

Start the mass internment and deportation of millions of Muslims who have settled here generations?

    Good luck with that.

It clearly is not and never has been. You can't be a true believer and have views compatible with those of western societies. To pretend otherwise is madness.

It was the Mormons. They'll stop at nothing until everyone believes in Joseph Smith

So you haven't heard about the Mormon wars then?

    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mormon_War

Thing is, they lost. Only for that they might have got a taste for it, and America could now be a polygamist theocracy. Wouldn't that be interesting?
