Meh, that biased source can't be trusted - isn't that what you usually say? :D

Depends on the biased source to be honest. Daily mail gets a "for jaysus sake" while Breitbart is usually greeted with 'teh lolz'.

Sweden actually influenced the nazi party. Sweden had a society for race health in 1909 and then a "race biology" institute in 1922, way before the nazis.
This place was active until late 1950s.

Sterilisation of gypsies and mentally ill people happened until 1976.

The current prime minister's granddad was a nazi lackey.

The largest paper in Sweden, Aftonbladet, described Hitler's war as a "liberation war" at the time.

Just like Hitler was inspired by Britain's concentration camps and America's genocide against Native Americans.

America was committing genocide as late as the 1970s in south east Asia.

British newspapers supported Hitler back in the 1930s

I started this thread out of ignorance but Billy86 put me right.

    .

On the times I've clicked on it, I've often been struck not by the football stories, but - for a supposedly conservative rag - the number of articles related to famous women in revealing clothes and sunning themselves on a beach. I'm waiting for the 'Sexy Celebs Flee Beaches Due To Immigrant Cannibal Panic' story.

Going on memory, the Swiss had a very harsh policy towards Jewish refugees during the 1930's. Preventing the "judaification" of Switzerland was deemed a priority, didn't apparently want Synagogues being built and so on. Any parallel made between then and the attitude towards certain groups now, you make on your own. The Swedes were relatively open towards refugees - took in all the Danish Jews afaik.

You'll get those stories eventually. Until then you'll have to make do with the stories with headlines like:

"This Woman doesn't want to work because she gets £50,000 a year on Benefits and YOU are paying for it?"

    or

"These Immigrants are living in four star hotels and being driven around in stretch limos. And guess WHO is paying for it?"

    Etc, etc.

Didn't the Mail support Oswald Moseley back in the 1930's?

Indeedy they did. Didn't want anymore Jews in Britain either, coincidentally enough.

You buy the "Irish Sun" we understand that you like tits. You buy the"Star" oh, busy day on the sites. Now, when somebody buys the "Irish Sunday Mail" I've no excuse for them. I buy the Sunday World because the back pages are kinda good

You buy the Sun because you have trouble reading. Easiest paper to read by far.
