You should send those into the local news paper, that kind of carry on shouldn't happen.

Ah, as an enthusiast, it'd bother me. I'd say most people wouldn't care or see the harm. The sort of person that happily owns a Kia Rio Mk2 definitely doesn't care.

I just think it's poor as on Tuesday I parked there and there were no signs or notice that anything would be happening there and then on Wednesday, that. So if you left your car there overnight etc, this was it's fate.

I'm sure the cars were unharmed, it's just a bit jarring to watch, usually when they are on one of those forklifts, they are about to get flipped into the crusher.

    It's quite illegal too AFAIK.

You can only move cars blocking your property by hand, legally. At least that's what the laws said anyway.

I'm over 4 years building my car, sticking a forklift under it to move it will do damage, I think I would ape**** if they even thought about moving it that way never mind actually do it

New 7 - looks unimpressive and bland dispite all the fancy chrome bits, assumed it was a 5 series at first.

    @ Marty McFly - that's a 911 993 Turbo, right?

Would they be that rare here (as in only one in the country)?

Saw a gorgeous, yellow 98 Fiat Coupe last night. 20v turbo with only 50k on it.
Too dark for pictures but it was at work so it might appear again.

No it's a Porsche Turbo 3.6 there was only about 1500 produced worldwide so a very rare car.

The Mechanic told me after they rang Porsche about it Porsche rang them back and offered the owner over 200k for it straight away which he turned down despite never driving it and had actually forgotten he owned it.

I wonder could I actually convince him that he gave it to me if he is so forgetful.

you keep accidentally flicking the wipers and indicators on and off i'd say.

nice car is right. did they get a demo down for you to test drive or what's the story behind it.

If was meant to be down for an event a few weeks ago but didn't make it.

I told the salesman that I wanted a spin and they got it back in, not sure if it was just for me, but luckily I was off work today so was able to bring it for a good spin.

Pretty awesome car, great noise, puts down the power really well and launch control is a cool feature :)

Good to hear your thoughts on it Mick, these seem a serious car, remapped versions were making muck of stock versions of seriously high BHP cars down the 1/4 mile at inters the last few years.

This made me laugh, if I was the mechanic I'd be denying to the owner that he ever left a car with me in the first place :P

I saw a Carver on the South Ring in Cork this week, no picture unfortunately. Must be one of the rarest cars in Ireland?

Seen it in Douglas before as well, tilted over sideways going around a bend :pac:
