it fairly stands out though when its up there, i noticed it instantly as soon as i went online.

took a very interesting approach, flew directly over the run way at about 3,000 feet and then circling around now again to land.

Some people up the spine of the country must be hearing a lovely sound as it passes overhead at 22,000 feet.

The TAF for DUB is a southerly wind 180degrees at 25kts G40kts for 10am-12pm tomorrow, with an Emirates 777 due at 11:20am, may it be forced to land on RWY16?

Looking at FR and seeing what's going on over my own head, there seems to have been several go-arounds at Dublin. Anyone know what's up??

Could be weather, Live ATC on now
Wind 17Kts, no gusts, nothing amazing.
    I count 3 go-arounds.

The weather is very benign, doubt if that's the issue. Strange one all the same....

It's a Swiss cs100. Pretty much brand new out of the bag.

I'd guess it's a proving flight or something.... Sales even?

Heading the wrong way for Dubai

    Wonder where it's going.

Should it have been going to the Dubai air show? Flying display was cancelled today.

Reported FOD on the RWY at DUB, rescue vehicles went out to clear it up, took longer than they thought, no take offs and 3 go-arounds

"Forced"??? They have landed on 16/34 plenty of times before.

But they always prefer 10/28. They only use 16/34 when 10/28 isn't an option...

Wasnt my point anyway, would a 40kt gust at 190 degrees which is almost complete crosswind put 10/28 out of limits for a 777?

It's all very hypothetical as its only a taf for a time in the future...
