A lump of coal in a sock.
If that's what you got last year too at least you've a new pair of socks now.

I'm treating myself to a 2016 BMW 5-Series in Jatoba. I went with a diesel model last year, but I can now acknowledge that it wasn't the best decision I've ever made. Will the ActiveHybrid be any better? I think so.

From my family I'm hoping for a GAA Go Pass, a Connect 4 board game, and a meal in Moran's of the Weir. A recently published book about the history of the local landlord house would also be a lovely token - if I was to receive it.

This year I'm getting a new house. A brand new 2,500 sq ft lovely house. Can't wait to move in.

Fcuk Jatoba. Frank Keane on the Naas Road would do you a better deal.

Last year, my son made me a photo frame for a picture of my deceased doggy. He made it at school in October and kept it hidden til Christmas morning. I don't think anything can top that gift :)

My mother got me a bunch of Disney Frozen stuff, and a hairbrush last year :pac: I'm an 18y/o manboy, so I used them everyday to go with the joke

This year I'd like more Frozen stuff and a shaving set :)

I'd say I'll be getting mainly clothes and a few books for Christmas this year. I have no need for anything else I got a new phone last Christmas and got an iPad during the year. No doubt I'll get toiletries of some of the family I don't mind deodorant and shampoo sets but bottles of aftershave. If I actually get any more aftershave I have a life time supply of the stuff at this stage and never bought a bottle of it myself. Must have upwards of 20 bottles of the stuff all birthday or Christmas presents.

    I shall be getting nothing.

Just had to replace the clutch in the wife's car, so that is her sorted.

Children will be spoilt rotten as usual.

And to top it off the in laws are coming for dinner.

I usually love Xmas, this year is looking like a stinker.

Might be going somewhere sunnier this Christmas, looking holidays possibly in Greece or the Canaries. It will beat Ireland and Scotland which I have been all my life every Christmas, somewhere hot and exotic seems fairly exciting.

Since Christmas is time for giving, a better question to ask would be what are you getting others for Christmas?

Well I've my Christmas shopping done for everyone else already. First time ever I've been so organised :)

But I keep getting asked by others for ideas for myself. So your question doesn't really apply to my situation. But thanks. Maybe you should start your own thread?

People do realise its not Christmas right? Its not even really close to Christmas.

Yep. But I don't like the last minute rush shopping for gifts so getting organised now

I'm finished my shopping too, got the last this weekend.

I don't need anything, but can't think of what to tell himself I want!

I love giving, but hate, absolutely hate getting presents, I get so embarrassed, and have to be so excited! I just cannot do it well,

I'm getting the mother a bright shiny new vibrator so she can think of me whenever she goes at herself.
I'm getting the father a prostitute voucher and some porno.

Myself probably going to go for a new TV and a new tablet, probably windows one i'd say.

I will be getting myself lovely presents from Space NK :) They will include Tom Ford's Black Orchid perfume. If money was no object I would bathe in that stuff!

I'd ideally like Fallout 4 for PC and a decent pair of winter boots.

I'm getting a book from France (one that can't be got here, so I asked for it), and himself always goes to the U.S. before Christmas, and so often gets me previously arranged photography equipment (in B&h if NY is on the cards !). This year I badly need a new tripod.
Makes it very difficult to get him something since he goes on mad spending sprees over there, treating himself as well as others !

The kids have started putting a shoebox full of stuff for me at Christmas, I love it, last year I got Lidl moisturizer, chocolate, and one or two very thoughtful bits from the poundshop. Perfect !
