What are you getting for Christmas??

I lack imagination but really want something fun for Christmas. I'm thinking of getting a new phone which will be exciting for a few minutes until I realise its only slightly better than my old one.

What were the best Christmas presents you got over the years (as adults) or what are you excited to be getting this year?

Probably get some clothes, maybe a couple of books (have my eye on more of the witcher series) and I was thinking about some new brewing equipment, so maybe that.

Might grab something in the Steam Christmas sale for myself then

I usually get a diary/organiser that is left in my daughter's stocking from santa so she can give it as her gift to me. She includes it on her list every year. I genuinely do get excited about starting a new diary but i realise that's not all that fun for most people!

I also get a season ticket every year. A few of us support the same team so we buy each others ticket.

Jeans and a T-shirt same as every year I'd imagine but I'm happy with that. What I'm really looking forward to is a Christmas card from the kids, their card for my birthday made my day

My parents usually buy my flights so I can spend Christmas with them, that's a great gift and I'm really grateful for it every year. I usually get another 'surprise' and an assortment of other gifts from various other members of the family, featuring something very sensible from Granny.

A few years ago, one of my nephews memorably gave me a packet of Smarties, with the colour carefully sucked off every single sweet. Things don't have to be expensive to be memorable.

He says the colors are the best bit! I think the greedy little fecker loves me...but not as much as he loves Smarties.

Him and his twin are six now, so I expect another self portrait of the two of them fashioned from pasta, glitter, fuzzits, and the every present ingredient of snot.

I love the pair of them, they're a pair of adorable pint-size gangsters.

The thing I've got the most use out of is the first time I was bought a moleskin plain sheet journal to write in, cos it meant I used it a lot and stopped wasting money on crappy cheap stuff to write in.

Most I've enjoyed is probably a video game of some sort.

If I could have anything in the world? All my friends who've emigrated over the last few years not to leave again after they come home for Christmas. The first and second weeks of January have suddenly become the saddest weeks of the year.

However, since this isn't on the cards, a decent supply of beers will help get me through it, so I'd go for that

I'm getting a new iPod. Mine packed in after four years of bliss, so I can't wait for it!

Trying to decide what to get for everyone else is the hard part. I think I've my parents sorted, but my boyfriend and siblings are really hard to shop for.

I'm treating myself to a 2016 BMW 5-Series in Jatoba. I went with a diesel model last year, but I can now acknowledge that it wasn't the best decision I've ever made. Will the ActiveHybrid be any better? I think so.

From my family I'm hoping for a GAA Go Pass, a Connect 4 board game, and a meal in Moran's of the Weir. A recently published book about the history of the local landlord house would also be a lovely token - if I was to receive it.

Last year, my son made me a photo frame for a picture of my deceased doggy. He made it at school in October and kept it hidden til Christmas morning. I don't think anything can top that gift

I always buy myself Christmas presents to myself every year!!!my husband and work colleagues thinks its hilarious but little trinkets along the way to date I bought Kylie Minogue perfume €6, ani and Anna €12 bracelet online. I think we work so hard all year round and it's a token of all hard work!!

I'd say I'll be getting mainly clothes and a few books for Christmas this year. I have no need for anything else I got a new phone last Christmas and got an iPad during the year. No doubt I'll get toiletries of some of the family I don't mind deodorant and shampoo sets but bottles of aftershave. If I actually get any more aftershave I have a life time supply of the stuff at this stage and never bought a bottle of it myself. Must have upwards of 20 bottles of the stuff all birthday or Christmas presents.

Just had to replace the clutch in the wife's car, so that is her sorted.

Children will be spoilt rotten as usual.

And to top it off the in laws are coming for dinner.

I usually love Xmas, this year is looking like a stinker.

Might be going somewhere sunnier this Christmas, looking holidays possibly in Greece or the Canaries. It will beat Ireland and Scotland which I have been all my life every Christmas, somewhere hot and exotic seems fairly exciting.

Well I've my Christmas shopping done for everyone else already. First time ever I've been so organised
