I don't see anything wrong with these sayings, the first one bolded would come across to me as being affectionate and likely something someone in your family would say. The second one my sister would use to address me sometimes as I'm the youngest in the family, so sort of makes sense, I'm the kid of the family.

I think it's context dependant. A lot of people on here like to finish their quips with "kid" or "mate" when they want to try and be condescending or a smart áss to the other person, but they really just come across as wánkers :)

Not so much a buzzword as just an actual word with a meaning. Are people misusing it now?

I'm less than a tenth of the way through the thread and you've just attacked everyone's opinion. I think you're misunderstanding the point of the thread.

    Or they use son/san.

Grammar bullies or people who claim that bad grammar "causes them pain". Jesus get a life. How come you don't see maths or science bullies? Most of the time grammatical errors are just mistakes. Making a big deal of it is indicative of a wanker.

Is it to express opinions and never comment on others? Because if so, you're misunderstanding it yourself.

Seriously though, if you think I'm going off topic, report me.

No, 'So ' in that post is being used correctly, I say again, correctly.

    What I mean is this.

Interviewer: Tell me how you got started in business?

UberWanker : So I bought a little shop and then...........

Interviewer: Very interesting, did you have any setbacks on the way...

UberWanker: So in 2009 I bought a pair of matching Beemers for me an the wife,on the credit card, just before the arse fell out of the property market.
But I fought my way back and now only owe 4.5 million.

Thought you had me didn't you;)

People having loud private conversations on their phones whilst in public or worst of all, on public transport. I sat through a mans chat with his mother while in a waiting room once, I don't need to know that level of detail about a strangers life, much less their parents specific digestive difficulties.

How to deal with these people.:pac:

I might have said it before but unironic use of the word "feminazi" is a sure sign of a massive wanker.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 12,156 ✭✭✭✭PopePalpatine

It's kinda chilling to think of what the actual Nazis would do to feminists if they got their hands on them. I'd hazard a guess that any of them that were "Aryan" enough would be used like broodmares.

For me it's people with undercut hairstyles along with a beard, so many people have them nowadays. They all look like Conor Mcgregor wannabes.

Using the word 'uber' in a sentence and putting it before a word it has no business being beside. It's uberpointless and ubertosserish. :pac:

While he would not be my favourite person, he is not a wNker just because he makes a lot of money and provides a lot of employment.

Despite what you might think padd b, that it's ok to film homeless folk getting help, it's also a homeless indvidual's prerogative to refuse to be filmed like this - giving help to homeless folk without the filming is far more genuine.

I've posted the above because I did'nt see your 'Thanks' below the O'Mackerals post.

did you see that couple that gave a homeless girl a ticket to ed sheerhan...and then tweeted the story with photos....

i think it's great if you give a homeless person a ticket to somewhere....and even better that they brought her.... but to blog the f**ing story with pics makes them w*nkers!

I see your Pajero and raise you the D-Max Cobra jokes that take up 12 parking spaces and still leaves the arse hanging out into the road.
