Really looking forward to the next one!

Lightning all your comments were bang on!

We had a late showing from some of the boys too which made it better again :)

166 man can attest to a couple of 70mph drifts ;)

Next one? I might just have a go so...

I'd love to take the RX on tack and give it a good blast.

I'm so tall that putting a helmet on might be a bit tricky, mind.

How much do NCT pre-tests usually cost and are they worth it? I suppose if you don't know the mechanic they might ask you to change more than you need, or so I've heard.

    NONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONO

The charge in the NCT centre is likely to be less and will tell you what they wish to have fixed, which the garage may get wrong.
Throw it in, get the list, fix and return :)

I'm just scared that the list will be too long. Airbag light is a fail, right? It came back on about 1000 km after having it cleared. :(

    I hope so.

You mean the downforce kind of wings? :P

I painted the rusty wing though.

There's some crowd on the radio trying to promote pre tests. They say that if after getting a pre test your car fails the NCT, they will pay for the retest. I suppose if that's the case, they'll fix every possible little thing and charge mad money for it, so that even, on the off chance, a car fails, 50 euro, or whatever it is, won't be a big amount for them to pay out.

    28 for a retest, IIRC. :)

Seems it must be a fresh enough can if there is only that mileage on it your not so bad. Normally the new lad would get the sh!test van going. Best of luck with the new job anyway hopefully you like it :)

Seems my car actively gets customers to ask my colleagues who owns it, even if it's not there :pac: Was only told that someone was in yesterday asking who owned it even when I wasn't working, makes keeping it well completely worth it :)

Assuming my average consumption has been 38.85 MPG and the average price of petrol has been €1.31, I have paid €0.127 per KM (including price of the car and "parts" put into it). €0.18 if you include tax and insurance as well.

*10767 KM done since my ownership over 4.5 months.

Just done the maths cos I love this stuff :)
Taking the same.. Price of car, cost of fuel and parts, tax and insurance.

    €0.25 per Km over 43,000km :)

Yeah, I find it very interesting too. :)

€0.25 seems pretty good for a car like yours. How long do you have it?

For my Megane it is as follows:
    €0.08 per km fuel
    €0.05 per km insurance
    €0.01 per km tax
€0.02 for km parts / maintenance hasn't cost anything so far but will be getting a service over christmas so ill ad that in as an average.

Total €0.16 per km over 13k km.
