Missed a birdie chance on 16 that would have seen him 1 behind.

Finally made a putt. Birdie on the last needed now.

If only, if only..... he must have missed at least 4 very holeable putts today. Should have needed 3 pars over the final 3 holes to to win. If only......

Has half a chance of a birdie at 18th.

Finished joint 2nd. Probably into World top 20. Well done.

Nice, just 4 bogeys all week, think he was the highest ranked player heading into the tournament.
Great result considering the putting was v v poor...

    17th - fantastic.

Was amazing when he got in top 50 - but this is just even more awesom

    Top work

He has really kicked on this season. This time last year, we were discussing him getting in to the top 50. That win at the Bridgestone has really lifted him on to a new level.

I see he's drawn with Rory and Danny Willet in Turkey this week. Plenty of TV coverage guaranteed so. :D

Presumably, but I think how they play in each others' company is more important and interesting.

Killer of a finish, pity. But still a good start

Pity he couldn't keep it going. In the top 20 but looked for much of the day that he would be closer to the top.

The two bogies to finish were a bummer. Hopefully he can just put that out of his mind - tied 11th is OK.

Just watched the replay now. His bogey on his 17th was a sloppy 3 putt. Didn't show what led to the bogey on his last but he left a 12 ft par putt a foot short. Rest of his game looked excellent but its a birdie fest. Van Zyl's round was exceptional but I'd say CSS was about 69.

Shane has his putting boots on today. Just missed and eagle putt and then drained a 25 footer to save power.
