This is gas, I would think I've seen a lot of daft behaviour at work, certainly much wilder than that, but only in a context where people know each other well and are comfortable.
I'd say you've every right to make a complaint, completely crazy thing to do. It'd probably be the best thing for that dXXkhead too, he'd find out he was out of order. Unbelievably stupid, tripping up a women you don't know and thinking it's a bit of craic! What a clown.
