    I don't think there was ever an update on what exactly - technically - is going wrong here?

    It would be good to hear that it is at least known, and that - if the site is under some kind of DoS/DDoS attack - that it's just a dumb bandwidth/resource hogging attack, and not one that actually gains wider access to the site/infrastructure.

    With the way the site has been borking-up - not just losing the ability to access, but weird bugs being thrown up when using the site - the latter just looks a bit more 'weird' and relates to the internal workings of the site, and would be good to know that it can definitely be explained just by excessive bandwidth/resource usage.

    Unless you're subscribing to the site though (which I ain't) you've fup all right to be complaining about a service which 999/1000 runs perfectly.
