I love those angus vaccum packed steaks in tescos, on the nutritional info at the back it says that per 100g raw theres 200 calories, each steak is 225g so that's 450 calories per steak raw

However surely a lot of fat is lost when these steaks are cooked especially if grilled so I was wondering if the calories are indeed alot less after cooking

I think the old packaging said that each steak cooked and trimmed of fat was 204 calories which is a lot less then each steak raw

Would appreciate a right answer as im tracking calories

I'd imagine the calories quoted are for a cooked steak. Tesco hardly expect you to eat it raw!

    It's '100g raw as sold'.

Tesco don't really care how you eat it. It's probably just the easiest way for them
