I've got a DLH tracking number now, but when I go to the DHL site it say it doesn't exist.

    Annoying.

That just means OnePlus have your package ready to ship, DHL will collect it soon.

That was actually my OPO tracking number from last year. I had clicked the wrong order. Silly me.

OPT hasn't been shipped yet :(

Ordered some Orzly tempered glass and a Orzly fusion bumper case. €20 for both on E bay.

The tempered glass really saved my OPO's life numerous times.

Does anyone here find the charging awful slow on this? Especially compared to the OPO.
Im using the stock plug and lead, but can take over two hours to charge.
The OPO was only taking around 1hr 10/20 mins to fully charge.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 650 ✭✭✭jimmyendless

I'm thinking would I be just as happy with the OPO?

I think my OPO takes more than 1hr 20m to charge

I wouldn't. Try the invite thread, some fella had a load of OP2 invites for Boardsies today or try Oct 12 open sales for 1 hour (check the site).

Just got an email about an open sale on October 12th.

Yep, I just got that same email. I guess I'll have to avail of that.

Guess it depends on what charger you were using.
The official charger took longer for me, but using a 2amp charger from Amazon it was much faster to charge

Question for other owners, when you back out of a sub window in messages or settings what animation do you guys get? Mine seems to flicker/minimise and I just want to know if that's normal because it's driving me slightly bonkers.

Will the phone from the open sale ship from Europe, meaning no VAT?

The original charger is 2.1A? Just checked there, and it takes over 2 hours to charge :o

Can you link what charger you used?

What's the general waiting time between ordering and having the phone in hand?

As in using the back button (the one on the left), mine just minimizes, but no flicker.

It took a week for me from being in heathrow. Went to midlands after that, then Dublin for a couple of days. I had to ring DHL dublin to see what the delay was in getting onto the delivery van. Reason given was that there was a full pallet and they were getting through them as soon as they could.

Oh that's just killed my optimism of getting it tomorrow or Tuesday!

    Thanks for the heads-up.

This charger, price has gone way up though, it was around £3/4.
EDIT, only 1.8amp according to Amazon, but for me it was a noticeable difference than the stock one.

Link to the boards post's on it.

It charged much faster than the stock charger imo.
Try using Ampere with different chargers to see the current.

I ordered mine 5 days ago and it was just handed over to dhl yesterday. So looking like 7 days for me. Other people could be slower and others faster. I think it depends on their shipments from China to London

Battery was terrible imo, but after installing xposed framework and a few apps and tweaks, managed to greatly improve it.

Getting the OP2 soon, can anyone recommend the best way to transfer data?

What's the best way to transfer 12GB of pictures/videos to my new OP2 from my OPO?

Have you backed up using something like Google Photos? Or dropbox?

Arrived at Sort Facility DUBLIN - IRELAND, REPUBLIC OF

    It's getting closer :)

I signed up for the DHL notifications, but I haven't gotten any. So I'd advise checking the site directly if you are waiting for updates.
