Dead as a country my arse OP. Go read some Brian Friel, Brendan Behan, Patrick Kavanagh, go read any of your countries history and heritage and stop viewing a nations identity and culture on how much a mortgage costs.

We have it ****in easy here. Have a baby get a house. Heres some extra money for having it. What's better than that?

Go on a trip to India and stay in the slums. See how you like it.

Can anybody just have a baby and get a house?

its easy to survive and get by here, just about.
Its trying to get ahead thats near impossible.

and i know, im whats classed the working poor.

come view the system from my perspective. taxed on everything to the hilt. for instance my car is 16 years old and the yearly tax on it is more then the car is worth. Yet the same model 2008 or newer the tax is 150 euros. So much for equality.
this was supposedly about the enviroment. my arse. If they were serious about that they would have but road tax on the pump. polluter pays.
and i would have been happy with that.
