    Very good point actually.
Only reason i've had to use MMS is when sending to someone who isn't on viber, whatsapp, FB Messenger, Hangouts etc.

Tell them to cop the fcuk on, it's 2015, send them an email

Can anyone recommend a decent charger alternative to the blackberry playbook charger? I don't think I ever used the charger that came with the OPO, never seemed to work!

Lads I've suddenly got a problem with my phone whereby people have difficulty hearing me - they say its like I have bad signal and i sound miles away, where I can hear them perfectly and have full signal.. Any idea what this might be or how I can fix it?

You using the Google Now launcher?
I had the same issue using this launcher and by turning off "Ok Google" detection, it sorted it out for me.

Im on Cyanogen Os 12 and all of a sudden apps dont seem to work for me now. When I got to reload my newsfeed on Twitter or Instagram, it won't load them, same with refreshing other apps. When I go to download updates in the playstore, some of the images dont load and I can't download updates. The loading bar is moving as if its waiting to be downloaded.

Any ideas what could cause this? I didn't change any settings recently! I have left my privacy guard settings the same as I had them before.

I have the exact same problem.

Anyone know how the opo compares with the New nexus 5x? It had less ram but presumably a faster cup. Storage isn't an issue for me as I rarely have music loaded onto my phone. Main selling point for me is the size and the os (which isn't too far from this probably)

Anything is an upgrade on an iPhone 4. The one it's still great value

Now that people are upgrading from the One to the Two you should be able to pick a One up cheap second hand. I personally wouldn't go for a One brand new now that the Two is out at a good price.

But then you'd get a year old battery, not worth it IMO

Well true I suppose, but my battery on the OPO still lasts as long as it always did. More importantly I think would be to find one who's ROM isn't draining the battery. Most of the updates seem to have caused serious battery drainage, I never updated mine and it's great.

I just smashed my screen, looking for repairs in Meath, possibly Dublin if that's my only option. So watching all replies with interest.

    Thanks in advance

Recently got my screen replaced by electronicpartner.ie after readijng a recommendation here. Service was good and the screen is flawless but there was a delay in their ordering process which meant I was without my phone for over a week and a half.

I may have asked this before, I bought my one plus one early last September 2014. Does anyone know what os would have been on it ? I thought 44s but when I look on reddit I see posts from November 14 about its release

28s I think, I remember that's what mine came with.

On a different topic would anyone like to buy two official flip cases and a dbrand front face cover?

So yesterday I started getting an error popping up every few minutes "Unfortunately, Messenger as stopped". Was annoying the hell out of me so I thought it was time for a wipe and reinstall - and to unlock and root. several very painful hours later and I did it, tried a custom rom but now back to CM12. Just setting it up and I'm getting the same error again. Anyone know what this is or how to fix it?

I'm not the only one so. It had been happening a tiny bit for me the last couple of days but I could still use the app no problem, just reopen it but today after downloading an update for messenger the app is completely dead. It crashes as soon as I open it now, every time. I tried uninstalling both Facebook and messenger, opting back out of the beta program, force stopping, clearing cache etc and nothing is working. Because this started happening after it updated today, I'm assuming a major bug has been introduced, whether or not its specific to the OPO or more widespread I don't know but it's really annoying.

Managed to replace the screen myself, fiddly and some pretty horrifying yanking of delicate electronics but got there in the end, saved myself €100. Make sure you get the full LCD assembly, do not try the tutorials where you're heating the glue and trying to separate the old screen, just swap the whole thing out, its easy enough to do, took me an hour.

I feel like overhauling the whole thing to celebrate, whats the best ROM currently? Haven't looked since I flashed Exodus last year...

After smashing my first OPO, I took out insurance with blueinsurance.ie on the second

Smashed the screen on it a few months in, naturally. Sent it to the insurer's repair company 2 weeks ago and they deemed it unrepairable and a replacement was to be issued. I was a bit concerned about what the replacement was going to be as it's still a bit of a niche phone, but I just got a brand new (Indian market as far as I can tell, set up was in Hindi) OPO in the post this morning. Happy with that!

Good to know. How much is the insurance?
Edit: €3.99 a month or €51.99 a year. Not bad!

Hey guys, can anyone tell me why my OPO battery has been an absolute disaster since the last Cyanogen update? I had great battery before upwards of 23 hours , on light use, and now even on standby its lucky to go 9.
