Eggs.. Whether they be fried, scrambled, poached etc. can't stand the things. The smell is enough to make me gag.

Beetroot or red cabbage, I hate the way the colour of them stains other foods and for that reason alone I've never even tried them!

Milk!! I was traumatised as very hungover teen with milk. I can't even pick it up in see through cartons without feeling nauseous. Disgusting.

I feel like there's a story here that needs to be uncovered.

    Celery should be illegal.

    Yeah, human tits.

I'd drink a woman's breastmilk no bother and indeed have often asked, in vain, for the odd sip.

Mushrooms, onions, lamb, red cabbage... A lot of foods mentioned here that I love :D

I hate cucumber though, it tastes like poison and repeats for the day.

Also grapefruits and rock hard unripe plums from the supermarket, both are about as palatable as battery acid.

Not exactly a food but I also hate 7up. I just find the flavour nauseating.

Turnips, parsnips and carrots. Vegetables are supposed to be green. Or tasty.

Cucumber is the vilest of foods. I can't be in the same room as someone slicing it.

Beans. And the bean juice which contaminates all on the plate

Onion, in any form in my food and I'll puke, instantly.
I cannot be in the same room/area as fried onion (smell) .
The amount of chefs, cooks and wannabe chefs that cannot prepare food for me in a restaurant is simply staggering.
It uncovers a lot of brought in food in eateries. I've upped and walked out of a couple of well established restaurants in Cork

Potatoes. Hate them. They're boring. Unless they're roasted and fried. Thoughts of boiled or mashed potato makes me cry.

Humus. Who on earth eats that nonsense? Anyone claims they like the taste is a lying hippy with self esteem issues.

Spinach/kale. "Ooh look at me eat my superfoods". These people should be locked up.

the look of them make me want to vomit all over the place, ranker than rank even typing this out is making me shudder.

And pheasent, the smell of it cooking is just something that stays in your nostrils for life.

mint sauce and lamb fockin rotten too

    Heh, thought that said "humans".

Agree with you on kale and spinach; sure kale's been around years! Didn't we eat curly kale at Halloween?
Why is it only a superfood nowadays?

Spinach can pi** off; dry leaves of nothingness with stems that choke you as punishment for even eating it.

Ah, but what about Saag? Tis a lovely spinach dish.

Also, Lemon flavoured Hummus is a good dip for.. ahem.. Nachos.

I'm quite a picky eater so am finding myself nodding in agreement with most things here. Except milk; I bloody love milk!

    the joys of rosacea

 That's my entire diet, pretty much! If I were you I would basically be living only off of meat.
Eggs.. Whether they be fried, scrambled, poached etc. can't stand the things. The smell is enough to make me gag.

Agree with this. Eggs should exist to make cakes, pancakes and other desserty type things, and also possibly to make noodles*. They should not be eaten on their own in any form.
Beetroot. Nuts. Fish (except maybe tuna.) Cabbage. Ketchup. Cauliflower.

Agree with almost all of this, except I would count tuna as among the most despicable of fish. The smell.....eugh. *shudders*
I pretty much avoid anything that comes from the sea. I have tried sushi before but it was just a bit tasteless and rubbery.

Totally on board with anyone who denounces ketchup and mayonaise; horrible, disgusting things. Coleslaw and salad dressings also make me gag.

Baked beans, in that awful sugary watery tomato sauce, are also rotten.

I hate pretty much all vegetables, except for potatoes (which aren't really vegetables if you believe the food pyramid) and maybe peppers. I'm not quite as bad with fruit (I like grapes, blueberries, mandarins and the occasional apple) but I hate bananas, peaches and pears.

Mushrooms are interesting because I quite like mushroom flavoured things but don't eat actual mushrooms; it's the texture that puts me off. Same with peanuts; I'll eat (smooth) peanut butter and satay sauce but wouldn't eat actual peanuts.

*And to give us delicious, delicious chickens of course!!

We'd a fella from Boston in college who would refer to the likes of cabbage and boiled potatoes as mick food. I took it very personally at the time.

    Great shoout, TBM.

I like carrots, but the other two, what the feck are they doing in our dishes? They need to be culled.

If I was living by myself, things I wouldn't be interested in buying would include celery, turnips, white sliced bread, processed cheese (easi-singles type), white pudding, any kind of juice, any kind of carbonated soft drink, baked beans, strawberries, any kind of apples besides Granny Smiths.

Not that I hate them all, but I'd just have other stuff I'd buy instead.

    Mayonnaise.
    Salad cream.
    Sandwich spread.
    Salad dressings.
Coffee I can do without; I'm addicted to tea so it's rare I have a coffee. I do love the smell though.

Mackerel. This one is surprising even to me as mackerel was always my favourite fish, but cooking it is a nightmare plus the last time I had it, it was bone city and I nearly choked.
Plus the house stinks after it.
I think I'll stick to less messy fish from now on.

Yogurts; pointless pots of cold sour gloop.

I love onions but despise scallions. Am I weird?
    Wait, don't answer that.

    Cucumber
    Peanut butter
    Lamb
    Duck
    Sardines.

They're the only ones I can think of. (I've only tried cucumber, however).
Maybe the rest are nice. :P
