When you set the filter for B743's, very seldom you would see 1 anymore. It was up over Stornoway at 28000ft for a good while.

Anyone know why IB3790 is stopped on the bravos. Must be there about 20 minutes now.

Ryanair flight from knock - Luton due to depart at 1845 delayed 60 minutes due to a restriction on arrivals in Luton caused by thunderstorms in the area.

They took a wrong turn and the taxiway ahead of them was closed, they weren't able to do a 180 as the taxiway behind them had then closed so they had to wait for OPS1 to come and escort them onto the active RWY and back track to exit it

Took off again roughly an hour later, now on approach to ACE.

    Medical emergency?

Yep, It appears that TOM797 Montego Bay-Birmingham diverted to SNN at 9:54. Takeoff to Birmingham looks like 1pm, although I don't know how accurate the Shannon Airport app is.

Passed over Wexford around an hour ago, off top of my head, could have been a bit longer...

Crossing the country now is WOW Air A321 TF-DAD. After a bit of casual browsing I discover another A321 is reg TF-MOM and they reregistered 2 A320's (ex LZ reg) as TF-BRO and TF-SIS!

    :D

Quick off topic question if I may? Is there a story behind some of the current and past EI A330 reg's or is it just coincidence? Ex. DAA, LAX, EWR, JFK and ORD...

They appear to be IATA 3 letter codes for destination airports, Los Angeles = LAX, Newark = EWR, JFK New York = JFK, Chicago = ORD

I would guess that DAA = Dublin Airport Authority rather than Davison Army Airfield :)

Refuelling? For over an hour? At Cork?
The normal Fuel stop is FAO so I can't see that happening.

    It's refuelled
Paper work is slow to get sorted.
    Load sheet not done

    Why not at FAO?
How come fuel diversions to FAO rarely take this long? Often a delay of less than an hour is reported from FAO.
