Christ that road is freakishly narrow. It's more like a mountain ledge...

A real pity if Nico does actually go back, whether it's due to team orders or his own tiredness will matter as to his future chances though.

Roche not with the guys pacing Froome, maybe he's tired and feeling the affects of his own crash.

Nieve still in the main group. Makes you have to assume Roche wasnt ordered back but hes actually suffering

Suspect Roche isn't dropping back deliberately :(

    There is Roche. **** sake

Nico looks fooked worse than Froome. :(

Clearly Roche is suffering the sane as Froome. Not sure why sky were setting the pace earlier.

    Roche is completely cream-crackered.

So do Sky have anybody in a position to go for GC now?

Is Henao with Froome or up the road? Asking for a friend (my wallet).

The vuelta live tracker is a bit crap compared to the Tours, doesn't have live data of where each rider is so we're replying on TV coverage to see where Roche is at the moment.

Also, I'm kind of annoyed I cashed out a bet on Aru to win the GC at 10/1 now. I doubled my money, but now he's looking seriously good :(

Nieve started the day 12th I think

Why were Sky pushing it at the front when Froome and Roche were focked?

Chance to get back on the descent

even if they do (and they wont its nearly 2 mins) its just prolonging the agony

    Don't think they were pushing

    Don't think they were pushing

There was 8 of them at the front of the peleton.

I don't think they were pushing as such. They were riding an easy enough tempo. I suppose to make it look like everything was fine and dandy with Froome etc.

Probably the plan for the day before Froome had his crash, if indeed it's the after affects of the crash that's huring him.

Fake tempo/bluffing possibly. Knew they were ****ed today, so tried to fake it as long as possible before Astana took over the pace setting.

    Just a guess

Who is the Sky rider up near the front of the peloton?

    That's Boswell afaik

I don't think, Froome will finish this stage.

    Boswell is in the breakaway.

It's Nieve who is left in the main peloton.

Why were Sky pushing it at the front when Froome and Roche were focked?

    Because that's all they know.

Froome: "I'm feeling real good today lads."
"Ok boss. We'll push hard at the front so."

Froome: "I'm not feeling too good here lads."
"Ok boss. We'll push hard at the front so."

Only 36km to go! The worst is behind them now hopefully.
