Don't know what your talking about. I still have one player left to play and there's only 73 points in it!! :cool:

Seriously though, there was only going to be one winner. My team has been awful for the last 3/4 weeks. Only reason I got to playoffs is because of a 4/5 game win streak in the middle of the season. Best of luck to everyone left.

In theory, no. You are in a playoff for fifth place, only the top four are promoted.

In practice you will be promoted to Div 4 next season as there are always several drop outs etc, meaning everyone shuffles up the ranks.

Yea I finished last in division 6 and got promoted this year due to drop-outs.

Check Div 4, they're were a lot of drop outs in the higher Divs .....i forgot to post in the 2015 thread so im out (cant be arsed goin back to th end :mad:)

Lads, I will be acting as GM for this division this year. First time GM so bear with me.

The Division 5 league is active and about 8 of us were already in there from last year.
I have PM'd the other 8 with the link and password to register their teams.

Will update all the league settings in due course according to the boards charter.

I will also put up a poll for the draft next week. Kickoff is Thursday September 10th so maybe one of the nights that week (Mon-Wed) might suit us all.

Any hassle with registering let me know and post up your team names here so we know who is who.

I have set up a doodle poll for possible draft dates. Please enter your user name when voting and select all possible dates that suit.
One small factor which may not apply to some of you but Ireland v Georgia in the Euros is Monday night 7th September.
I have put in every night from Friday to Wednesday (all the days between the last preseason game and kickoff)

Just an update. We have 15 of the 16 teams registered and ready to go. The voting is going well for the draft with 10 people having voted and at the moment Wednesday 9th is looking favourite.

Just need Jme2010 to register and we are all set.

Don't know if some of you know jme2010 (Dublin Dragons) from last season but if you do maybe you can try and see if he is playing as he has not registered and I have prompted him a few times with PM's without reply. We may have to push on after today and see if we can get a 16th team in. Can't really hang on much longer.

All the divisions within our Division 5 have been setup now and the fixtures arranged.

The 4 divisional winners and 2 wildcards will make the playoffs. The Divisional positions were determined by last years final positions as per the master sheet on the fantasy thread posted by Spongey earlier in August.

You will play each team in your division twice so the head to heads within each division will have a major bearing on making the playoffs or not so watch out for your divisional matchups each week.

Wednesday 9th at 9pm is looking like the draft date at the moment. Still 4 people left to vote.

On the night. It just pops up randomly when you log in once the draft goes live. I believe it's like 15-30 minutes before the draft kicks off.

We are all set to go for the live draft tomorrow night (Wednesday 9th) at 9pm. The draft order will be randomly set half an hour beforehand and the draft will be the usual snake format. 90 seconds per pick.

Just to clarify as directed in the changes/decision making thread we are now keeping the 3 WR's format and no FLEX position this year.

I should have kept it quiet and do a master draft while all the others in autodraft, like that episode in The League.... :-)

I'm quite happy with my lot. Only mistake/annoyance was not realising the Jets D were available as I had them marked down but didn't see them on the list and went with my 2nd choice, only to see the Jets go a short time later. Funnily enough my opponent this week has the Jets D, wait and see them be the winning of our match now! The joys of fantasy football, eh? :pac:
