Don't they only need to draw to go through?

What would be so bad about them getting through?

Mods, shall we have a similar system to 6N for writing match previews during RWC?

Good idea I always like reading the previews :)

RTÉ One now is tugging at the heart strings!

I'm in the back arse of nowhere at the moment, and all of that show applies here. Went to go to a restaurant earlier that we used to go to all the time, got there and it looks like its been closed 3+ years :(

    I'm in favour.

I also think there should be a minnow roulette, where we randomly assign people a 2nd team to support from the 3rd/4th seeds (including Wales for the laugh).

Ah I found out recently that a pub in the arseend of Donegal that was a highlight of my first ever holiday with the OH had closed :(

    Sucked :(

One show I could watch endlessly is Reeling in the Years :D

The restaurant where I had my first real job closed not so long ago... If I hadn't emigrated I maintain they would have made it.

The pub where I had my first job also closed recently. New owners weren't paying VAT, had let the licence expire and Revenue came in, took all the stock and locked the doors. Two of my old colleagues were still working there, no redundancy, no notice, out on their ear that day.

I do :) There was a thread about it in the North County Dublin forum.

Was a bit shockingi how Customs were just able to swoop in and shut it down!

Was the best pub in Swords before Smyths bought it and extended it. Had 5 great years working there throughout college years, long time ago now!

Tbh, I only went there once last year or the year before, when it was under the new ownership and didn't like it at all, no offence :)

That said of about 12 pubs in Swords, there are about three that I do like :)

Twas fierce busy though, I was shocked it was closed.

None taken! It changed a lot, used to be a brilliant local pub where you'd know nearly everyone, then the new owners turned it into a massive sports and disco bar basically

Worked in a local pub when I was younger, owner got himself into a lot of debt, sold the pub and legged it over to Marbella, left all of us (about 8 staff) without two weeks wages (the week we were due and a week before as he said he was waiting on the bank to clear money), and no job as the new owners had their own staff lined up apparently. The joys.

The place Zippy was talking about was different, they didn't pay the duty on booze.

The day they were shut down Customs seized 50k worth of booze by all accounts.

I was wondering what happened to that place. Stay in dublin airport a lot and used to pop in there regularly. Pity. :(
