    Far better idea.

    The TUF finale the day after 189 was such an anti-climax.

    Agreed. It was terrible in comparison.

    Warlley Alves vs Colby Covington added now. I wonder is this the calibre of fights that will fill the rest of the card, to balance out the 3 massive fights at the top!

    Anyone know the walkout route?

    If you go on ticketmaster.com and look at ufc 191 you can see the map for the mgm grand and it shows walkout.
    Someone else might be able to confirm if it is always the same layout for the ufc.

    Two undefeated submission specialists...i'll take plenty more like that

    Given he's one of the coaches will McGregor have to show his face at TUF final? Surely not ideal given he'll be trying to recover from the cut?

    I'm sure Covington will get a great reception from the Irish in attendance after these comments he made when trying to goad Pendred into a fight a while back.
    Gonna be weird backing the Brazilian Alves on the night!!

    Think the Weidman Rockhold fight nearly has me as excited as the McGregor Aldo one. Can see that being a war. I do think Weidman's boxing and aggressive ground and pound might see him getting a late stoppage. Its also gonna be interesting to see if Rockhold can take Weidman down, Weidman is a BJJ black belt and he's never really used it.

    He went for a heel hook on Silva in their first fight, it was really tight too. But he never really got the credit for it as the way the fight ended grabbed all the attention

    Dana was right about it been the highest gate ever because they put the ticket prices up.

    UFC 194 Ticket Prices (Does not include fees):
    P1 = $1250
    P2 = $850
    P3 = $600
    P4 = $400
    P5 = $275
    P6 = $175

    Aiming for P3 but I'll take anything tbh.

    What about everyone else?

    You'll have no problem getting P3 imo.

    What would the P4/P5 views be like? Only UFC I was at was the last Dublin card, I was in one of the worst seats per say but thought the view was good. Seeing as the MGM only holds 10,000-15,000 I presume the view everywhere will be okay?

    Hoping to attend this and the TUF finale, flights and 3 nights in hotel from Toronto only about 400 euro. Not too shabby.

    We were in the p5 seats for 189 and will be going for the same again. Dont think there is a bad seat in the mgm

    I read somewhere before the p6 are bleachers. Are thee just the seats furthest back/ in the corners?

    They're like hens teeth. Don't waste your time relying on getting them.

    Think I'll be going for p5, maybe p4 depending on the others.

    What are Ticketmaster US fees like, is it a set %?

    ive been to 8 ufc events , 5 in the last year and 1/2. When Conor debuted in Sweden.We were panicking buying tickets, had ipads , phones and a laptop on hand when they went on Sale . We paid bout 500euro for tickets right at the front.
    a few my mates booked last minute and got 60 euro tickets. Ended up sitting beside us which me me sick, not for them but the fact we paid 500.
    Ive been to MGM twice first time paid around 400 i think was a bout mid and they were great seats could see everything.
    Last time for Mendez we got tickets near the back. But still could see everything.

    The thing is no matter where u are - bar ringside. You will most likely end up watching the majority of it on the screen anyway.
    I wouldnt go mad paying 4,5, 600 quid a ticket again when i think they're all the same. Everyone gets to see the fight and feel the atmosphere .

    Moral of the Story is Conor KOs Aldo every day!!

    This exactly, the MGM arena is purposely built for showcasing fights and as such you can get a good view of the ring/octagon no matter where you sit but inevitably you still find yourself looking at the big screen. We sat in P5 for 189 and they were perfect, not too too expensive, had a good enough view and the atmosphere was unreal in the arena. Not a hope id be forking out an extra couple of hundred to sit a little closer.

    Looking to go to this with a couple of friends myself.

    Has anyone seen any deals that include tickets yet? I remember seeing the for 189 on Cassidy travel etc if I'm not mistaken?

    I don't think there will be deals with tickets until the tickets are released.

    Not expecting to get any replies this time of night, but I've decided I'm goin over for it. Never been to the States before, let alone Vegas, and I'd be travelling alone. Just looking for a bit of advice from anyone who's been in the same boat, also I'll be doing this on a budget of hopefully €1,500 inc. ticket, is this feasible? Just took a notion there, been a fan of the sport for too long not to have gone to a Vegas event, and what better time to do it :D.

    1500 including spending money? No.

    1500 flights accom and ticket? Yes.

    Was including spending money in that, but the budget could go up as far as €2k if needs be. More concerned about the going alone part, wouldn't be the best in that sort of situation, but it's the only way I can make it over, so I'm hoping to run into a few Irish to hit the bars with and such. Think I'm going off topic now lol

    Vegas can be done on all sorts of budgets.

    Flights €550 on SS

    Flamingo hotel over Thursday to Monday is €184

    Buffets/Fast food/relatively decent meal downtown €40 a day

    You can get beer at the bar beside Harrahs for $1.

    If you dont want to drink hard or fancy and the same with eating you could easily do it on €1500.

    Would I want to do it on that budget and the simple answer is no.

    Casino Royale? If not, they also have $1 beers and $2 spirits as well.

    I think fremont has cheap drinks as well.
    If you stay in fremont you can stay in that area for really cheap and also have lots of casinos, bars, restaurants within walking distance. However, if you stay in fremont and plan on going to the strip often, you will spend a fortune on taxis. So really it's only if you are happy to stay away from the strip and for your first visit I'm sure you're not.

    Recommendations for cheaper hotels near MGM grand - excalibur, luxor and possibly New York New York.

    As for meeting up with people, I'm sure it will be easy to fall in with a group after a few drinks. My girlfriend and I are going out together, we'd be happy to meet up with some people as well.

    The craps tables are easy to settle into and talk ****e with people. Same with blackjack, roulette... Everything apart from slots actually. You'll be fine, just gotta have the balls to sit at the table once and you'll be sweet.
