PCIe Low Profile graphics card - where to buy?

Over in the windows thread CatintheBox was suggesting that a PCIe Low Profile graphics card might sort out what I need. Where would I get one? I wont be using it for gaming. Are these easy to fit? (Basically I have a new Samsung Monitor and an old Dell Optiplex 760 small form factor that doesn't have the resolution of 1920…

Yes the 760 SFF has a PCI-E lane so it will be fine, the only limitated is don't get a card with a large cooler as it may not fit. That would apply more to gaming cards though so you should be perfectly fine.

Also check that whatever card you buy has a low profile backplate included in the box - ridiculously, not all cards sold as low profile do.

Sugarman is right too, PC World sell some of those cards for pretty much the same price or less as you'd pay online. Pretty sure I saw a G210 in there recently for about €28.

I got a GT720 recently and it requires lots of space for the heatsink.

I had to use a 210 with fan for one PC as the space was not available for a large heatsink.
