All across Twitter the long standing and experienced players are struggling, the casuals are having a field day ATM.

Bit of an overreaction by most imo. Hazard capt fail followed by Rooney capt fail will mean most players that play sensibly will have gotten off to a shocker. A high % of casuals that have started well will have used up chips to create what is just a small gap in reality. 39 points between me (1.8m) and my mate who normally finishes 200 points behind me, he's currently 100k.

The regulars who keep TC and Bench Boost for DGW's should end up with more of an advantage than ever imo.

2 GWs out of 38 lads.

    The worm will turn.

Most of the casuals won't have plans for Aguero and Sanchez, will double up on Everton before realising they're playing City, and will jump on all the bandwagons every week, becoming confused as to why it's not working come Christmas.

I'm taking the stance of enjoying the chaos, and everything will work itself out.

Someone said yesterday that it's good to see those who normally lose interest after 10 weeks lording it up for now. I agree.

21 with 3 to play. Thank god for Russell Martin or I'd be only on 15.

Despite having 40 in total points so far, I'm oddly calm. I made 2 free transfers last night, but I'm definitely not wildcarding yet.

It will be interesting from here in now that Sanchez,Silva,Aguero have hit form.

That's why I hit the WC so i can get my hitters in early and try get back ground I have lost. Hopefully it evens out fairly soon.

Worry about where you are come Xmas lads. That's when the season starts to take shape.

I've been too disappointed to post here, 28 all out :( Possibly my worst week ever. Still don't think I'll wildcard.

Very true. Everton have a horror show of matches coming up.

This team is top of my main mini league. It has 127 points overall, with 66 so far this week, with 3 to play, as you'll see.

    Hart
    Kompany
    Mertesacker
    Jagielka
    Chadli
    Henderson
    Coutinho
    Payet (c)
    Benteke
    Lukaku
    Pellé

Fair play to him. It's the year of the mid price midfielder and striker so far!

2 assists and 2 bonus. That's it so far.

    2.6m rank.

That looks like an autopick team...all players roughly the same price!

11 points this week with two points to come off the bench for Walcot and Gomez, Ritchie and Benteke (c) to play tonight. Wild card has been activated.

My goalkeeper points total 32 % of my entire score....

I get the temptation to wildcard after the unusual start to the season, particularly if yours has been a disaster, but given how unusual the start has been what makes people think they can learn anything from it?

Yep Myhill and Guzan who also got a cs in week one, other than those two it's been a absolute train wreck of a start

There are still certain teams and players showing certain form who need to be replaced, and others who need to be brought in.

Plenty can be learned from 2 GWs.

We'll know more after the transfer window, and after a few more weeks, so it's a calculated risk to wildcard now...but there is still enough data to make some informed changes to your team.

Personally speaking I feel aguero and sanchez are the 2 players I want. This is how I felt before a ball was kicked. Unfortunately these two weren't viable to start with they take up 25% of your budget so it's quite hard to rearrange to get them in. Aguero in particular I didn't think would be sharp till gw 4 but I couldn't believe my eyes watching him yesterday he was on fire the first 30 min's. The likes of hazard and rooney had really high ownership due to doubts over sanchez and aguero and despite me feeling they weren't great picks it was hard to ignore them as there were no big hitter's available. Them failing with the high ownership and the 2 other lads looking sharp with the low ownership has made it hard to resist. I agree it's a bit too early to wildcard but when your sitting on 47 pts it's hard to justify an 8 pt hit.

Sure, I don't disagree that improvements can be made, just that wildcarding seems a bit drastic unless every pick has been a flop. I have two players, O'Shea and Ayoze, who aren't even getting their game. Not the backbone of my team or anything but I definitely want rid. Just think people might be overreacting especially with all the chips being played and falsely inflating others' positions and making the situation look worse.

Yeah, see, that's slightly different in that the start has reconfirmed your gut decision which is a powerful thing. Although, I would say it's exactly when you're on 47 points that you can justify an 8 pt hit; what have you to lose?

Makes sense, Liverpool looked much better against Stoke when Can came on. It also means Milderson will both be playing a bit further forward.
