Silva given the assist. No way should that stand. Makes up for what happened Silva owners last week

Toure somehow avoids a yellow card there.

They gave Rooney the assist last week so it's only fair Silva got it, if he did in fact get a touch.

    Why should it not stand?

    Mangala booked

Silva got a clear touch on it to redirect it

Sure apparently that means nothing this season. :P

As a Silva owner I'd have no issue with him not getting the assist there, it looked like Ivanovic on my stream. If he gets it, it'll make up for the goal at West Brom somewhat.

I don't have Silva but there is no debate about that assist
    he clearly redirected the ball

This game has removed any reservations I had about trebling up on Aguero, Silva and Kolarov.

I was thinking of Aguero, Yaya, Kolarov unitil the 2nd goal to save money but Silva has been immense,

Willing to risk Kolarov getting rotated, set pieces and general play very good today. Easily swapped out for 5-5.5 defender if Clichy takes over.

With displays like that, Kolarov cannot be dropped. I expect Clichy will feature sparingly.

I have to agree. Kolorov was sensational as was City. There is no way Kolorov is getting dropped this early in the season with 2 performances like that on the trot.

He could have had 3 assists today if Aguero was a bit sharper.

Kompany was the second most popular captain in the top 1,000 this week.

The top 1000 will soon become the bottom 1000. Ignore the rankings for now. It'll take a while for things to settle

I thought he helped stretch Chelsea's backline with his pace but as for tangible points for FPL he looked like helping the rest of City's attack to get in on the act. He could click and get 2 in a game but probably not worth 9.0 on a consistent basis, based on 2 games at the start of the season by my own observations :pac:

Says a lot about some of the players that are doing well so far.

Will anyone in the top 1000 come April captain a defender against the Champions?
