What happens if the flight is cancelled, since the passengers have gone through US Preclearence in Dublin and after that point you're technically in the US, do they have to cancel your visa stamp to show that you're no longer in the US if you have to go to a hotel for the night and then have to go through the Preclearence again the next day?

Sounds like another medical emergency on the way, Stobart?

A female had poured boiling water over her leg it seems.

Edit: it now says it was a 14 year old girl that poured boiling water over her leg.

smurfjed - Not attention seeking when I see such arrogance served up in front of me. You were acting like ego city and so it proved. Still, strength in numbers eh.

eatmyshorts - Someone who appears to get pleasure in knocking down others must have some depressive issues themselves. How pathetic.

Do not reply to the above post, fr336 has been given a week away from A&A, this is due to taking an argument from a locked thread to this one. Back on topic.

They have to be deprocessed by CBP and removed from the system. They'll have to go through it all again whenever their flight is due to fly. When that flight returned today the daa would have had to contact CBP and get them to recall a couple of officers to meet the flight on its return.

Are all the passengers being disembarked or just the injured passenger?

Three hour delay and then finally they get going, only to have to turn around 30 minutes later and then have to do all that. Not a fun day for the pax or crew or indeed the CBP lads and ladies who have to come back to work. I was curious as I'll be on that flight later in the week.

For what reason would they have got a replacement aircraft? The aircraft that returned last night just had a medical emergency wasn't it?

UA918 from Washington to Heathrow diverted to Gander earlier too. Seemed like a short stop.

The return flight EI124 on Sunday night was cancelled and passengers were accomodated on other flights, mostly EI122 on Monday.

I Need a seating plan for flight number EI738, anyone know exactly?

    Thanks.
