    How much gas would it take to knock out people living in a villa, I am guessing a tank of gas the size of a Ford Transit van at least, probably a few grands worth, the whole story is a joke.

    How much time would it take to hack in to an air con system, pump in enough gas that would fill the entire house with enough gas to knock people out without making noise to wake up the homeowners? There's people with decades of experience in the gas and refridgeration business wouldn't be able to do it.

    Funny thing; it's hard to find any fatalities connected with these alleged incidents. I would suggest this: If an anaesthetic gas is administered in sufficient concentration to knock out ALL the occupants of a caravan or house, it is nearly impossible to do it in such a manner that nobody dies from overdose.

    At the police station, Grandad tells his grandsons a long and convoluted story about why he might've been arrested: in 1936, when his family poor, Grandad and his friend Nobby Clarke hitchiked all the way to Southampton, got a boat to Tangier, and after a failed attempt to join the French Foreign Legion, became gun-runners during the Spanish Civil War. Eventually, they were captured, Nobby was tortured, and the pair were deported back to England. After hearing the story, Del bribes the guard into letting Grandad go, but it soon turns out that Grandad was only arrested for jaywalking and is free to go with no charge anyway, leaving Del out of pocket.

    And there's another chap in prison in The Philippines on trumped up charges. Heard an item yesterday about it.
