Just want to make sure the local habits that she's picked up, are replaced with different ones.
Seems fair enough, but the fees are eye-watering.
In a similar vein, a German vet I knew had to go through all the US exams in Idaho, or wherever it was she moved to. Cost her about the same, about ten years ago.

If you didn't have these rules there'd be nothing to stop someone emigrating for 40 years and then coming back here and paying the reduced rate without having contributed to the economy in the intervening time.

Oh and before anyone ask, no I didn't stand to attention in any of those exams - trust me that was the last thing on my mind, so to speak. I've been to see consultants in the US, Norn Iron and the U.K. and it is to Britainshire that I'll be heading on Sunday for this latest intervention so to speak.

I will be thinking of you lot more than you'll be thinking of me (!). All I ask in my abscence is that you not let Joe away with his BS and call him out on it as often as possible and in the most vitriolic of terms, as usual...so to speak.
