    Heard bits and pieces of the show today.

    What on earth were Joe/the producers/management thinking, letting that girl rave on and on about her self-mutilation. I don't care how much pain she was in, she clearly needs help (of the physical kind, if not mental) and once again that was DISGRACEFUL abuse of broadcasting.

    And then they allowed it turn into a mine-is-worse-than-yours painfest, with Joe sucking air through his teeth every now and then, revelling in the blood'n'guts'n'gore.

    Might have been enough to put me back off listening again for a while.

    An absolute shocker of a show.

    Actually, now that I think of it - what on earth was she on the show for in the first place? And apparently spouting the gory details on Radio Cork yesterday?

    Of all the "what on earth do they hope to achieve by calling Da Lahvline" calls we've had over the years, this is one of the most mystifying..... did she want someone to call in and volunteer to amputate her hand, maybe?

    Now I think I missed the start of her call (but not by much), and I definitely missed the end of it whenever that was as I just could NOT listen to it any more (it was lunchtime FFS :eek: apart from anything else) but I cannot think of a single reason why you'd ring a chat show to describe how you tried to hack your finger off with an axe and various other means.......

    Since hearing that she was on Radio Cork yesterday, I'm convinced the researchers went looking for her - just a hunch but I'd love to know.

    Bizarre, bizarre stuff.

    She did say "oh another radio station is looking into that for me" at one stage and a few posters said it too, JD doesn't like being 2nd fiddle, especially on 1st of LL after his 3 week holliers

    They were saying on the six one news last night that the reason they can't use the PPS number was because of security worries... interesting they had no problem allowing Irish Water take and use PPS numbers. :rolleyes:
