    Super start for Galway.

    Donegal storm back.

    1-2 to 0-1

Great response by Donegal, totally different levels of intensity compared with the first game.

Galway are turning Donegal over fairly easily.

That goal was a real blow, but great skill from McFadden to dummy his man in the lead up.

    Bit naive from the defence.

Haven't seen McFadden play this well in 3 years.

    Running the show up front.

Donegal are playing very well, the doom and gloom merchants may have been premature in predicting the decline of said county.Galway are hanging in there, appear to be chasing shadows at times.

Delighted that all that excessive hand passing a couple of minutes ago from Donegal is going to be punished.

Damian Comer has the potential to become a top top forward.

Were the Galway supporters booing their own team or the opposition there? Its ironic if they were booing Donegal because with 15 men behind the ball at that point their own team was every bit as responsible as Donegal for the football being played, maybe more responsible.

In spite of a decent spell by Donegal,Galway are only a point down.Very enjoyable game of football.

Well done Eddie Kinsella. Taking no guff there.

The fans were booing Donegal for their long passage of hand passing.

25 possessions already for Gallagher. Amazing.

I actually hate watching Donegal at this stage

Even though their own team's negative formation with all 15 men behind the ball was the cause of it? Ironic.

Donegal don't look great here. If Galway had any good backs at all they'd be winning easily but they're still poor from 1-7. Sice and Lundy are honestly their best defenders today.

Galway would be in front if their forwards were on form.

    Some very poor misses.

if galway believe in themselves this is there doe them
Donegal are so one paced and look leggy again
as a mayo man on today's evidence I think at this stage is rather face donegal than Tyrone !

    Poor miss by Varley

    Good man Eddie

    fooled again

Looked a lot worse then it was.
Wasn't even high. It was hard and on the ball. A free for a swinging arm but nothing more.

    Anybody's game!

Donegal have been brutal going forward for most of the match.Their obsession with endless recycling possession when they have 3 ball winning full forwards who they can target. It really beggars belief why they are so unbelievably conservative today despite being completely the opposite against Armagh earlier in the year. It's almost as if they are afraid to play off the cuff and have to have everything pre programmed for them.

I doubt Galway would be able to cope with them if they left McBrearty,McFadden and Murphy inside launched long balls in and worked off of that.

I worried for Galway after the goal but since then they have been the better team.

If you sit back on Donegal and play them at their game, so to speak, then they morph into Cork and start running down blind alleys. They look really uncomfortable facing massed defences. Kerry did it last year. The Dubs were either not smart enough or too arrogant to do it and got suckered. Leads to teams like Galway trying it and getting success.

Just 25,665 in Croke Park for the two games today.

Ridiculous in an 82,500 capacity stadium.

if the Donegal v Galway game was in Roscommon or Mayo they'd probably get 15k max
