What's Russia like, is it safe to go there?

As long as your stay out of the way of all the bears on unicycles, you'll be grand.

I see a few votes for Vienna.

I found it far more beautiful than I expected, grand on a scale that would rival Paris. But Christ I thought it was boring at night time.

I'm really surprised that no-one has mentioned Stockholm, a fantastic city despite it being the home of the €14 pint.

Nope. Mostly work. But hey, look, you got 2 likes. Not the end of the world. With a little more effort you might get into double figures next time. Keep the faith.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Pyongyang yet!

Ive been to Antigua twice for a few days each and its fantastic but its tiny and I cant see it being a major draw to travel all the way to Guatemala to see again.

Derry, Great compact city, plentty of history, nightlife etc.
Edinburgh in the summer for the fringe.
Florence - Most beautiful city ive been in.

Has to be Montreal for me. I lived there from 94-01 during graduate school and absolutely love the place. Amazing mix of Europe and North America. I miss it terribly but did manage to go back in May for a couple of days.

Sums it up for me. Worth a visit though, but definitely wouldn't go back.

    Edinburgh, Las Vegas, Galway.

Based on most of the replies in this thread it sounds like I should take a trip to Berlin.

VEGAS!!! Vancouver, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Liverpool, Newcastle (last 2 for a piss up!)

Was't a fan of LA, well most of it anyway.

Berliners are lovely people as well.

    lol

I think you are maybe the first person to have ever said that.

Anyway, Berlin was one I was going to post. See it's very popular, lives up to the hype tbh. I've spent more time there than almost any other city I've been to.

Would also never hesitate to go to Leipzig

Dresden deserves another visit, I think.

Copenhagen was great, wasn't too sure what to expect but a few days turned out to be waaaaaaay too short. Need to come prepared with lots and lots of Kroner....

I'd never turn down a trip to London, always find something new when I go there.

London, Paris, New York. Very predictable…

I just find those cities have a real pulse that excites me.

I'm actually really looking forward to going back to Amsterdam as a recent weekend there was way too short and I was largely ignorant of how lovely it is.
