    So who's drinking?

I'm having a glass of red wine, tis delightful.

Also, why does red wine have to be room temperature, I love red wine chilled.

Chill away if you like it, anyway, room temperature these days is a lot warmer than the recommended temp for red wine, something like 14c - 18c compared to the plus 20 most houses are.

Na, no odds to me what way round you write it, you're still trying to tie me to a ritualistic belief that tomorrow morning is somehow different than the morning after. I'm not standing for it.

But does that mean you subscribe to the notion that one can indeed step into the same river twice?

Because that would seem to me to be a ludicrous proposition!

The wife is gone out. Dug out the old PS2 from the attic today, so the lads ( 9 and 11 yrs) are playing the old games and having a ball.

    Boys night in for me.

I work Wednesday 'till Sunday so I tend to get sh*tfaced on Monday and Tuesday. The other five days I sit in and only get a little drunk, unless of course its an occasion, you know like the week-end which can sometimes kick off on a Thursday....

I definitely don't drink on Wednesdays, that's for sure.

I have no friends, don't drink, and wanted to watch desperate housewives.

Where I live, it is less depressing to stay home than it is to go out. That's how bad it is.

female early 30s most of my friends are settled and loved up so not out as much

Tuborg. I couldn't handle sitting here an hour ago slobbering all over myself dreaming of a beer, so I done the wrong thing and called a mate for a loan to get some deliciously chilled Tuborg beers.

Here we go again, have mercy on my soul. Ah sure, one night in heaven is better than a week in hell.

    Cheers mothafcukas.

Sounds arsey, but because I genuinely need a break from all the going out of late. I stay in loads in the winter (prefer it most of the time tbh) but there tends to be a lot on in the summer.

It's just the law of common sense. :)

I know. But in fairness, if there was a fire in the house he, all 4 years of him, would be more sensible than I would be.

Common sense told me this... Right dude, are you going to sit here all night shaking like a leaf knocking everything over ? or are you going to get a few beers in at home and chill-out and turn shaken stevens off ?. I chose the most logical one.

Well that is the first time I kissed the lip of a can of chilled tuborg. There's always a first time for everything.
