Did everyone have to go get a cup of tea to relax after Susan?

Maybe they can't hear the radio with the ear muffs on.

I think the car hire insurance cost trick is more Fourth.
A classic Bait and Switch, if you like - and quite despicable if carried out by a nationally known car hire firm.

    Missed da show today....worth podcasting?

Spotted dis ad for How Now Mrs. Browinz Cow in the Culture Section (no less) of D'sunday Toymes whilst browsing it today. They were clearly in such a rush to get the ad out the forgot to remove d'reference to D'Movie which they say is "in de cinemas now so to speak". It's dat kind of attention to detail dat makes Brindin O'Cardle all d'money so to speak.

Can't believe there's dat many idiots out there willing to fill dat many nights Nort and Souith of D'border.

But at least with the print ad we don't have to listen to dat laugh.

They also charge an "administration fee" of I think 3.75% for the privilege of cashing in your own voucher! That's €7.50 they take from a €200 voucher for doing nothing! It's a disgrace Joe.

Good screw for them - thousands of advance monies they get interest on and the use of, then have the neck to charge more.

We got our Tesco clubcard vouchers recently and they had 2017 on them, which can only have been a mistake as they normally only give you 5 minutes to redeem them and nothing annoys me more than forgetting to use them before the expiry date.

I appreciate there should be some limit on vouchers, you can expect a company to redeem a voucher bought 10 years ago with inflation etc but they should suck up the admin costs themselves, then if you are rich enough to go on a shopping spree in Dundrum you probably wipe your ar$e with fivers anyhow

Like most people, I visit the shopping centre at weekends and try my best to buy what I need within my budget. Like many other parents, I put extra items in my shopping trolley for my children, all of whom are in negative equity on their homes. I see people stacking trolleys full with drink and wine. I guarantee that some of them should not be doing this.
A family with two children will have their water bill capped at €260 and be eligible to apply for a conservation grant of €100. This means that they will pay €3.07 per week to have clean water in which to shower, wash vegetables, bathe children or fill a baby's bottle.
Is that not value for money for those who can afford to stack their trolleys with beer and other items, including water, every weekend?
