was it not part of her civic duty to see it through with the lad dumping the household waste in the public bin?

    where are the parachutes?

Whatever that photo op cost will come out eventually in a Freedom of Information request. It'll be embarrassing either way for those involved and rightly so. None of the politicians on that ship are doing anything that can't be resolved via a phone call or meeting with Navy officers in Dublin. It's a serious waste of taxpayers money, nothing else.

I think she's lucky they are putting their litter into any bins at all

I don't know. Can you imagine the official record being in Dooblinese?

That would be interesting, just imagine speeches that Jackie Healy Rae from Kilgarvan made. How did they figure out what he said. :D

The whole country is in negative equity
Doesn't mean they are in financial difficulty - only if they want to move

I read the transcript while it was playing, and it seems that who ever wrote it had a much better skill with the English language than the speaker. Is that allowed? After all isn't whats written supposed to be as it was said for the Dail record?
Are you joking? They couldn't let the sh1te these clowns come out with go on the public record verbatim. The Oireachtas has a very competent editing staff who put great effort into making the Dail and Seanad records comprehensible.

They have no control over the pension increases to Cowen, Ahern etc. but they can dip into people's wages and social welfare to recoup property tax and water charges easily enough.

The only way to get out of poverty is education, education, education, education or present a 75 minute show on RTE.

Comptroller general should be seeking the cost of the by-election from Lee on behalf of the taxpayers
