Sh1tty article on a serious subject with plenty of photos of our beloved Kathryn enjoying herself and looking beautiful (if you like that , I guess taste is individual) totally lowering the tone of an already self centered article.

A truly awful piece from a paper that has really deteriorated over the last few years.

Website is full of 'celebrity' news that nobody cares about.

They really should colour their masthead red now like the rest of them and stop the pretence of being a quality paper.

Thousands of people are glad to have escaped any kind of atrocity. They get on with their lives. Just because you fill in occasionally for another muppet on radio is no excuse to balloon it out.

Anyway two people who were murdered in Tunisia were buried today. Their family and friends are not writing articles in the papers. Too traumatised and grieving like normal people would I'm sure. God love them.

Just to put a non event into perspective here. Which gets the most publicity? Ah yes Z list mother who is thankfully still alive and well.

I wonder what the process was, did Kathryn Thomas phone up her trusted contact at the indo or did someone at the indo overhear someone chatting at say a TESCO check out about how a woman who happened to be the mother of la Thomas had been in Tunisia and then phone her to get the non story.

Oh wait - having read the actual article it turns out she has a column the lucky filly in which to tell us things that didn't happen. and then the indo plundered same for a cheap page filler.

That's actually worse.

In fairness to Kathryn Thomas, it's a case of the Indo trying to raise her profile for marketing reasons. She writes for the Indo's sister rag, the Star, and the Indo is only trying to shift papers.

Both (unsigned) articles are no more than ads. They've ripped the Tunisia story from an article KT apparently published in the Star a few months ago, and now they've attributed some quotes to her on Berkeley.

I wouldn't say this is a case of KT trying to draw attention to herself. It's probably just a case of some pimply jobbridge candidate in marketing at Denis O'Brien Towers earning his 180 quid. Just an ad, that's all.
