Very nice, have a bit of a birthday tradition for my eldest around afternoon tea in either the Weston or the Merrion. Surprisingly decent feed too.

    Your eldest?

Was anyone else's mental image of Venjur a mid-20s ultra-hipster? I always figured you laughed at molloy for not being hipster enough.

Venjur adopted a few teenagers from countries you haven't even heard of yet.

Venjur's kids names are actually emojis.

    Before they were cool.

    Or existed.

Eh... what the actual f**k just happened here then?

I've two kids and no beard.

Here's a picture of my eldest and as you can see there is no Hipsterness in my household at all.

They were actually designed in Dublin by this underground non conformist alternative clothing creative specialist called el-Mundo Molloy.

You can tell it's his as the entire range is crafted from hemp and he signs them off with his brand logo JH which stands for "Jolly Hipster".

Designed using a chalk and slate, cause paper and pen is too mainstream.

Hemp? Eh, no it's all linen these days man. We grow our own flax plant and use the seeds to stay healthy and the linen (woven from hand spun yarns) to keep cool.

    Hemp! :rolleyes::D

Dude, have just placed an order there. Totally rad website by the way. It's, like, awesome.

Seriously, I like the heat, but there's a limit: 30 to 35 degrees all week in my part of Switzerland, not pleasant. How I miss those grey rainy Dublin summer days, where 20 degrees is a heatwave...

So I didn't see that coming in True Detective....

All this talk of cake reminded me of when I made this before I started my summer training... And it was deadly... And I miss it... :(

Bit unfair to discuss it here,
but either the show goes into flashback, or it wasn't as it seemed. Any alternative would suck.

Yeah I have to say I'm finding this series of TD far better than the first one. But at the same time this whole "good guys with deep and heavy flaws" thing is a bit much. And last night
just as Farrells character was getting to grips with his demons they kill him off. It's almost like a warning to other characters. Get your sh*t together and you're dead. So Taylor you keep up your suicidal/adrenaline junkie bike rides and Rachel you keep a hold of your daddy issues and everything will be fine.
. That said I am finding this dark Rachel McAdams pretty hot....

You must be some looker yourself Venjur if you think she's not good looking.

Think he's saying the opposite, that she's hot all the time, not just this dark version of her that hipsters like.
