These Scumbags need to be blown to bits by the rest of the world.

I don't want to hear about big bad America and how they are as bad as anyone. We need the US, like it or not. It's getting very close to home now ( France ).

If something happens in London and Irish are killed we will be pleading with the UK and US to stop these ****ers. These animals don't understand reason or rational talks. You have to meet fire with fire at some stage and pick a side.
And when it comes these scum and America, I know who's side I'm on.

    Go team America

What we need are tighter border controls and to stop getting involved in the affairs of the middle east. Then we target the extremists who are already here and remove/kill them. Why would we go to war with these fools in their back yard if it's never worked before?

Easily said from the comfort of your armchair while they murder innocent people. And when it's in France it's no longer a middle east contained issue

    What's with calling them Apes?

Exactly. Apes don't engage in mass murder for political reasons.

Of course they can ignore it, sure there are too many terrorist attacks in France so the solution it seems is to portion them out to other EU nations with a quota system!

No doubt the EU/UK/US are getting the blame again for their admittedly horrendous foreign policies in the region over the last spread of years. However, the local "big players" Iran, Saudi Arabia, Israel & Egypt and various other acolytes and jnr partners have been engaged in various sectarian proxy wars for the last 60 odd years. Yes, the 2nd ww destabilised the region and created artificial countries but jewish, sunni and shi'ite sectarianism is the real fuel on the fire here.

Militarily there is no solution here. You go in, destroy and move back out and a more aggressive, more fundamental group fills in the vacuum.

So sad for what were relatively stable democracies in North Africa, far from perfect. Just like Iraq and Libya, is this better than what went before?

There is up to 6 nationalities of people dead.
I'd imagine it's likely to have an Irish person included in the casualties.

RTE news reporting at least 7 dead.

    Any Irish among the casualties?

I would say it will be mostly spanish and british.

Look, a coalition force went into Iraq already, routed the enemy, tried to install a freely elected govt. Result? We created ISIS.

We've been bombing them, locking them up and torturing them, chasing them around the deserts of Africa and the Middle East for years. Where do you start? Nigeria, Egypt, Sudan, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, the Lebanon, Syria?

This is a proxy war between Shi'ites and Sunni's. Let them at it, get out and wait for the dust to settle.

The Saudi's & Iran are the only 2 who can sit down and sort this out. Israel won't sit idly by for too much longer. Not sure why NATO needs to make itself a target by getting involved.

Terrible loss of life and terrible for the country too because the tourism industry will not bounce back from this fast, especially with that other attack on the museum in March.

Tourism in all of these Muslims countries will be hit hard. Egypt and Turkey are examples.

FROM RT:Dublin woman caught up in attack

A Dublin woman in the Tunisian resort of Sousse described what she saw when the attack happened.

Speaking to RTÉ's News At One, Elizabeth O'Brien said: "I thought it was fireworks and then I thought 'Oh my God' it sounds like gunfire.

"I ran to the sea to my children and grabbed our things and, as I was running towards the hotel, the waiters and the security on the beach started shouting 'Run, run, run'.

"We ran to our room, which is like a little bungalow, so we are actually trapped in our room, because we have no contact the phone here doesn't work to call reception
