So they had paperwork when boarding the flight but nothing when they arrived in Dublin? Ship them straight out on the first possible flight.

What a joke, anyone who turns up here claiming refuge needs to be turfed out immediately, but dont expect that to happen from the bleeding heart left we have in this country or western europe.

What danger were these people in if they were rich enough to buy plane tickets for an inaugural flight surely they could of left at any stage? Opportunism at its best

We're obligated under agreement to offer asylum.

    I take it that's sarcasm?

Well, that's us swimming in Ebola, because Africa is a small landmass and I don't know the difference between countries.

Well no, they arrive with nothing and ask to stay in a state with some of Europe's highest rents. Someone obviously pays.

I was on a flight from Paris to Cork 8 or 9 years ago where two guys in their 20's (possibly middle eastern) ate their passports on the plane, by the time someone had alerted the staff most of the pages (and covers) were gone and they shoved the remainder in their mouths.

I've been watching The Tribe on Channel 4 over that past number of weeks - a "fly on the wall" documentary about an Ethiopian tribe's everyday life and to be honest if it was that V's ending up in social housing in Longford - I'd stay where they are.

It's quite amusing actually. The fact that everyone was saying that there was no way asylum seekers would get access to Ireland and then bahm on the first flight there is 7

The asylum system here is a joke anyway. In order for asylum seekers to be housed and fed they should have to work for it. In order to gain citizenship they must go work on a rural farm. They need to contribute something to society.

What right have they to be given asylum in our country? Chances are they will offer nothing to our society while having everything handed to them for free while Irish people suffer of the streets.

Ha, that's pulling the piss in fairness. On what grounds are they claiming asylum?

My dads in Ethiopia atm with Trinity College, he's doing a Masters in Human Development and working with street children. His lecturer came out to visit, she took KLM to get out there last week and was on that flight on the way back. To be honest, I think Asylum Seekers are amongst the least of our worries....i'd rather have 4 Ethiopians who are willing to work hard and contribute to Irish society, than about 20 Irish so called 'patriots' who sit on O'Connell bridge complaining about how 'de gubermint r crap nd Enda Kenny is shyte', while I work a 49 hour week on minimum wage to go to college.

I think the "race card" was stolen by the right a long time ago

I've a spare room if any of them want it.

They should see this post when they're given free accommodation, wifi and an iPad.

I wonder how many asylum seekers we can expect per flight

7 isn't the issue. It's the amount that follow.Where does it stop?Or do you think it should just be free for all?Its a joke.they are rich enough to fly on inaugural flight. This us abusing the already abused system. They should be sent home and zero tolerance of this.
