Hounded by particular posters. What ever the wrong or the right of the point that was being argued, certain posters came out looking like nasty pieces of work IMHO. There's even a little gloat fest at the end of the thread.

Anyway, hopefully he'll be back for the banter at some stage.

Ah cheers didn't realise that was my rationale for it not being an import

It had a decent spec from what I saw of it
They're for sale officially too, I've seen a few original Irish ones. Mostly diesel. The 250 CDi is a 204bhp diesel, 220 is 168bhp and the 200 is 136bhp, or not enough in other words.

    No petrol option at all?

This one had no CDI badge :(

Oh there is alright, the usual E-Class petrol options, but I don't think it includes the AMG ones, or I'm not even sure if the V8's are in there. The usual 1.8 turbo petrol, and I assume the 3.5 V6 is there somewhere too. You won't find that in Ireland, you'll have to import that one!!

Well once I had a tank that just lasted for 10 seconds and 300 yards to the gallon!!!! I have the biggest waviest willy :cool:

21mpg average usually from the 750i. 60% motorway, 40% city.

My Da's E class was petrol but is wasn't a coupe, import too obv.

Also re. the import reg a few pages back, my Mam's Mazda is an import and the reg is 43xxx. I dunno how or why but it was about 12 months old when it was brought in, I think that has something to do with it s

Actually there is the 4.7 V8 petrol in there too, as well as the 2 1.8's and the 3.5.
    3 V6 diesel also.

You're after the V8 is it? :D 402bhp would be nice in one alright...

Toyota didn't improve their tank sizes for the Celica no? I can't remember what size the levin one was but I think the technical term is "fookin' tiny!!"

A 'fuel thimble' as Clarkson would say :pac:

Most i've ever gotten in is €54. It's almost impractically small.

I think the 3.5 petrol in the higher output form, ie the E400, is the one to opt for, apparenlty the V8's can be expensive to sort if they go wrong!!
    http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201506094167515/sort/default/postcode/w127rj/body-type/coupe/channel/cars/engine-size-cars/3l_to_3-9l/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/page/1/model/e_class/maximum-age/up_to_4_years_old/usedcars/fuel-type/petrol/make/mercedes-benz/radius/1500?logcode=p

That one is listed as 3.0 petrol, but I'm nearly sure the petrol V6's are 3.5, and diesel's are 3.0.

In a pinch you could get 400Km out of the Levin, usually refilled after about 300 odd.

I miss my Primera days, life was so cheap then :o

Had no idea about Bp, sorry to see him go. This forum really can't afford to lose many more regulars, whether you like them or not, its all of us as a group that make the forum. People start leaving in droves and then it'll become like the hockey forum:pac:

Hopefully he'll be back and can we not all just be friends
