but whst about the fact that at least 2 of them claimed she wasnt wearing pants and that they SAW EVERYTHING, danny and nick anyway, before Marc got involved and insisted he saw nothing and believed her. From thereon noone backed Harri up and let her take the blame for it. they were having a laugh, if she is able to let someone ask whether they take it up the arse, call her cum bucket and Sam is willing to have sex, she cant portray herself as Princess Fiona if she is seen innocently enough touching herself while sleeping (which does happen)

Marc was willing to have a laugh at it until he saw the opportunity to villainise Harri again. He would be the first person to make a fool of someone if he witnessed such a thing. And the others who claimed they saw it also initially showed what spineless people they are when they saw Harri getting all the blame for it. its an environment where slagging will happen. They are both becoming obsessed with eachother, marc and harri, in their own way but the difference is Mark is manipulating everyone to back him up while Harri is being segregated and seen as the big bad wolf. They both have some ugly habits and personality traits but i feel sorry for Harri completely.
May be wrong but I got the impression that Harri was driving it all and brought on board the others and she was the one who was insisting that she seen her shall we say "digitizing" herself.

and btw even if it is true, what Sam was meant to be doing is hardly the worst thing in the world. when did we become a society of prudes and nuns!
Well I would prefer for my family's sake that it wasn't televised to the world if it was true and I was asleep and I would be majorly peed of with someone saying it if it wasn't true.
I know your going to say its a gameshow and you are putting yourself out there but I think showing an unconscious woman doing that(if its true) or announcing to the world about Joel peeing the bed and something they have no control of is unnecessary and gratuitous.

They didn't show anything, all I saw was a leg, there was nothing graphic in what was broadcast.

I saw the leg and then I saw Harri pulling the blanket across to cover up Sam. Can people not give her credit for that? That seemed like what any caring female would do in a similar situation.

The rest of the house slagging off Sam re this, true or not, went too far, IMO. Unfortunately for Sam, she does not seem to be able to assert herself in a way that sticks. This because, while she's protesting, she's smiling at the same time. Giving off a mixed message! People then think she's not serious, when she protests - and that she actually enjoys the abuse.

cant help but think Eileen drew the short end of the straw last week when she was stitched up by simon and lost to joel in the vote, who is probably quite popular with the public. would've lasted a bit longer if simon hadn't of put her up, her exit seemed just hard luck against a favourite. someone had to go and they preferred joel.

You only have to look at the other hm reactions to know that what Harri is saying was true. She wasn't the only one that witnessed it. She was however the only one that tried to cover her up.

In fact it was Marc that started the slagging off, not Harri. Both Danny and Chloe were laughing at her before Harri got involved.

I think the mistake Harri made was insisting it did happen even after Sam denied it ........ whether it happened or not, Sam was obviously embarrassed by the accusation ........ the other HM's had the decency to accept her denial because they realised Sam was embarrassed ...... Harri displayed no such decency.

    Not true, IMO!

yes but then they made her out to be a complete liar. she was oviously going to stick up for herself. it would be different if they all just laughed it off and said no more without Marc saying someone was lying. I actually think having sex with someone on live tv in a bedroom of strangers is much more embarrasing yet she allowed herself to do that and the rest slagged her for it and she took it. If the others hadnt cowered down and denied saying they saw it (didnt nick "swear on his life she was at it" ) it wouldnt be about Harri but just a harmless dituation with Sam. And Marc wouldnt have more ammunition for his vendetta against her. In fact last few days Marc has abandoned all his jumping around and playacting and put all his energies into Harri despite saying he wants nothing to do with her?.....

Sam was embarrassed, Sam denied it happened, the other HM's left it at that ....... Harri started ranting and raving insisting to Sam that "IT DID HAPPEN! I KNOW WHAT I SAW!!" etc. and tried to force the other HM's to join in ........... just not the decent thing to do but respect to the other HM's for not allowing themselves to be dragged into an attempt to humiliate Sam ....... oh nearly forgot, IMO!

Because Marc called her a liar

Perhaps Sam accepted the slagging about having sex because it happened but was not willing to accept being ridiculed for masturbating because it didn't happen ........ maybe Harri IS a liar and Sam wasn't prepared to accept the lies ........ and Marc, seeing a friend being bullied, stepped in to back Sam up.

jpeople really need to watch the scene on the couch when they bring it up about Sam.

    Sam makes a comment...

nick an joel turn her comment into a reference to her "activity"

    Harri makes a slight comment

    Chloe mentions Goldfinger.

Marc makes a comment and reminds her of what he told her earlier

Sam says she doesnt know what he is talkin about

Danny said he and they saw it all, the cover was half off and it wss graphic

they all laugh, i think harri says sge put the cover over

Sam looks embarrased and says she wssnt touching herself (she denies it VERY uncovincingly)

Nick swears on his parents life

marc says he actually saw nothing

Then Danny says he saw nothin.....

It is then turnex on Harri for making it up.....

Marc then over next few scenes is saying Harri is a liar to Sam and few others, noone challenges him!

    (well something like that anyway)

How is Harri the villain here.....?)

Sams bodylanguage gave all the impressions she was embarrasingly denying it but she is hard to read. she literally could of been scratching.......maybe she caught something.....

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,902 ✭✭✭power pants

she did deny it convincingly though

I think jade sees marc as the ''annoying little brother'' who embarrasses her in front of her mates and insists on hanging around with them. I like having marc in there though, to represent us (haha) and see how they respond to his irish humour.

I guess its come to that time on the show where everyone throws ''gameplan'' accusations at each other. I suppose living with a bunch of people for 3 months or even 3 weeks will turn you against them, theres no room to breathe.

sam seems very passive aggressive, she doesn't really show any seriousness when correcting marc about the way he speaks to her, she always does it half laughing.

im not sure what to make of simon and his tears, the wails sounded very staged and over the top. I think he's really regretting coming back in now there's a backlash against him. maybe should've stayed away? they all seemed excited to have him back on Friday and its gone sour quite quickly.

there's a lot of focus this year in turning people against each other and starting rows through the tasks asking them ''who is the most annoying housemate, who is playing a game, showing housemates diary room footage. sometimes it seems like they're trying too hard.

I said as much in the previous post. she definitely lacks assertiveness. glad someone picked that up as well :)

except she denied having sex with him also the day after! while mark said they DID have sex! she merely said they had a cuddle but not sex!

she also let Simon take all the blame for nominating Jack whilst it was her own idea to use the gambling excuse to put him up for nomination.

she has shown that she is well able to fabricate the truth to suit her predicament and she doesnt seem to be able to accept responsibility or own her actions.

like she denied having sex andd denied any part in the Jack "gambling" nomination........both in the same conving manner..... difference is we know for sure both of these denials were lies as Mark confirmed and we saw her nominTion of Jack on camera

Someone is lying. Multiple people said Sam's bits were on show, she says she was wearing pants. I'd say she probably had the hand down there, possibly unaware if she was asleep, and she's embarrassed and trying to save face. It's a big fuss over nothing imo made worse by the fact no one was able to leave the sofa area.

Nope .......... from what I saw Harri was a bit more full-on than the rest of the HM's both on the night (even though she did cover Sam up eventually) and on the couch the next day.

I dont think she was denying possibly scratching, harri said she was digitising herself, she was denying that. That was the lie. Harri said she was the only one that saw it. Liar liar pants on fire Harri.

Isnt big brother great this year though, whether you like Mark or hate him, its given us all a great discussion forum, big thanks to all the contributors, I'm really enjoying all your posts.

yrs she was defending herself as they made her out to be a liar. I missed that Christian confirmed he saw it also which kind of silenced a few of them....... even Sam says when Christian swears he saw it that "christaian was having a great time" (presumably watching it). you could see mark smirking when he saw an opportunitg to make Harri the liar and villain to which she responded "here we go again, i know what i saw".

i would defend myself also. i doubt harri is too bothered about or respects herself sexually so she wasnt making it out to be a vile thing, she was trying to have a laugh and join in AFTER 3 or 4 of them brought it up initially. I think Harri is a bit of a joke but she haS every right to back herself up if they turned against her. Poor Sam, the little princess doesnt want to be embarrased

but Sam has already shown herself up to be a liar. you also do realise it is very common to fondle in your sleep. Im completely believing Harri wasnt lying here. Fair enough if you dont though. I think i have given enough evidence to support my belief!!

I think a lot of the HM's who said they saw "it" were referring to her crotch as the "it" whereas Harri seemed to be the only one insisting that the "it" was Sam actually masturbating ........ Harri's attitude wasn't playful or comic-like unlike the rest of the HM's who were definitely just teasing.
They also stopped teasing Sam when it got to the point that Sam was obviously embarrassed and vehemently denied she was "playing with herself" whereas Harri continued on unnecessarily ...... which came across as nasty ....... IMO.

    ....

Re: Nastiness. Something tells me Mark will do okay out of this, he's a lovable rogue in most peoples eyes. He's a bit Marmite I suppose, you love him or hate him. Nasty Nick had nothing really going for him except he was sly.

I agree that he was at the beginning. I liked him a lot, myself. But his pathetic and cowardly vendetta against Harry is making me think very little of him. He can't cope with the fact that someone can see right through him and is pulling him up on it. He's acting like he has been backed into a corner and feels threatened. And he should feel threatened, because Harry is trying to expose his bullsh*t. His little act that he does has gotten very old very quickly, and now he's exposing himself to be a scared little boy who can't handle it when someone doesn't accept what he says.

Why can't he just say "Ok, Harry doesn't like me. End of story" instead of going on and on at her and trying to get everyone else to gang up on her too. Despicable behaviour from Mark. He desperately needs to get over himself. He's been caught out and he needs to just deal with it.

I think Sam was asleep and is unaware of what people saw. She's understandably embarrassed but she's making a big mistake trusting Marc.
