Just passing Roscommon, this is first time I've noticed the 'spare' AirTanker Voyager operating for Thomas Cook:

G-VYGK plotting on my system as aircraft type VOY2. Serial ZZ340 was reserved by the RAF but not allocated.

Would assume Heathrow! Are any of the BA flights in today not normal schedule?

08:40 Probably won't see this MD-11F again for a long time, if at all... Nordic Global ceased operations at the end of May.

    http://fr24.com/NGB951/6735f66
The carrier’s four MD-11Fs (48512, 48513, 48542, 48546) are all in the process of being acquired by US-based Western Global Airlines.

Oh! But there is hope :D
Under the new contract Network Airline Management will manage three MD11Fs based at their European hub in Liege, Belgium and which will replace the MD11Fs previously leased from Nordic Global

Mostly use Luton, but the rugby team used Farnbourgh earlier this year.

Any idea what time they are due in?

Their training ground is in Burton, so that's close to East Midlands, Birmingham or Manchester

Now what's this Jet2 out and in from Dublin? Nothing appropriate showing on the boards.

Three in the hold at Belfast International, reported that a USAF aircraft diverted in with engine problems.

We're not used to that sort of excitement up here!

    Rolling Stones livery?
A quick Google shows it was used by them for their last tour, probably not them coming in but does it still have this livery? Would be fun to see! :P

I think that's a step up for Belfast!

It was a US ANG C-130H with a failed engine. A good fry and a bottle of Buckfast for each of the crew tonight! Wonder if they've ever had 'vegetable roll' before now...

I think G-VYGK has been leased by TCX until early 2018.

I was driving home from the airport (for a nosey) when about 5 emergency vehicles drove past me racing towards the airport.
Checked FR24 and saw nothing, so carried on home, trust it to be a military aircraft!

Here's the reason for the three in hold:

http://www.flightradar24.com/RYR42DP/674b2bb requesting ambulance to wait at DUB for 77yo pax with heart difficulties. No medical personnel on board so they're not sure how bad things are. Requesting high speed with Scottish control for a straight in.

Not surprising. Leave the morons at it, and fire them out on the jetty in DUB.
