    I saw an ad on donedeal where a dairy farmer is selling off his reject cows, lame and three quarters €750-€900. Isn't it bad enough having a few rejects in every herd besides buying them in.

    Handy for suckler men with twins/show calves or lads who want to rear a few calves though.

    There was a thread on here a while ago regarding the costs of rearing calves and somebody posted some very detailed costings on calf rearing - possibly yellow 50X??

    I've searched high and low but can't find it, anyone any idea on the thread or post I;m talking about??
