    Probably works the same way as it does up here for casualty, screw, and generally dying animals. We'll come and lift them, if they still have a heartbeat and pay cash and then we'll take them to somewhere dodgy along the border and take the tags outa them and hey presto that stolen batch of fr bullocks have magically got a new identity.

    or is that just my overactive imagination working, sure that's right we've got a world class traceability database, nothing would get through it!!

    And ordering two tags at the one time flags you up as a crook, when these people blatantly advertise what they're at. :confused:

    I saw an ad on donedeal where a dairy farmer is selling off his reject cows, lame and three quarters €750-€900. Isn't it bad enough having a few rejects in every herd besides buying them in.

    Handy for suckler men with twins/show calves or lads who want to rear a few calves though.

    There was a thread on here a while ago regarding the costs of rearing calves and somebody posted some very detailed costings on calf rearing - possibly yellow 50X??

    I've searched high and low but can't find it, anyone any idea on the thread or post I;m talking about??
