I asked one of the curators and I also asked at the end of my interview and was told by both that 220 were left in the running for 75 jobs.

I was told 275 on the first day which makes sence with the schedule but who knows. What date did you do yours

Subject to Medical plus reference check if you get offered a position

No someone I know got offered a position on the graduate programme starting in sept.

When they do contact people is it more likely to be at the end of the week or the start. End is my guess as i got invitation to assessment on a friday. Was just thinking there we each fought off 12 people to get to the assessment.

I heard the Graduates were waiting a long time before anybody was contacted. Yet it says on the eircom faq page that people would be contacted within a week of the close of the process. Has anybody on here contacted the recruitment company regarding their application?

I think the graduate interviews finished just before ours started. So if they heard back last wk, we should get notified this wk.

Well the only way eircom techs were ever recruited was through an apprenticeship so there is no other way into eircom. Not sure how kn recruit but thats another option i suppose

1) wait until next year or the year after for those intakes

2)KN, you have a good chance with them if you have some sort of relevent technical background

3)Sub contractor to KN, although you'd most likely have to know someone

4)BT Openreach will be recruiting soon for UK and NI

5)Get a degree in Engineering or Computing and try get an engineering role with them

I was told they'd be starting 3 groups of 25 in july, august and september so hopefully there hiring in 3 lots. I would imagine they'll notify one group today, another tomorrow and final group friday. Surely they cant keep us waiting much longer than that!!!
