A quick review of governments prior to WW2 suggests that anti Semitism was rife, the Jewish people were a handy target, on running out of those they'd have found a new scapegoat.
America, Britain, Europe as a whole, that kind of cult of the soldier sits easy, I'd say they'd adopt the fascist standpoint with little resistance.
A federal government in compilant countries with power resting with a central congress that answers to a leading council, a theocracy without a religion.
Exploitation of world resourcefulness without restraint.
Massive technological and economic growth fuelled by said exploitation and "planting" of non indigenous people into cleared homelands.
The use of secret police and surveillance to build a state of fear and keeping the population under control.

What a strange answer. He probably does know Irish. his point was that it in an alternative timeline where the nazis won the atrocities would be forgotten is in fact emphasised by your reply asking whether we blame today's Germans or Brits and implying we shouldn't.

People were guessing what would have happened if the Nazis had won WW2, I was just saying that it would have been similar to what the Brits done here and people would defend them even if they forced us to speak German or killed loads of us.

The National Socialists would have taken over the running of the schools and would have forced their beliefs on young impressionable minds that being a different religion was wrong and homosexuals shouldn't exist.

They also would have made them wear uniforms and would have made them praise the Führer.

You would make the declaration early that your child was a National Socialist early, not because you believed in it, but in the worry it might limit your choice of schools.

School wise it probably wouldn't be that much different, just that there might be a tram/cycle lane to get to school in the morning rather than yummy mummies pulling up in a BMW X5, 500 meters away from home.

If the Nazis had won WW2 ... well, recent history has shown us that wars don't end when one side "wins", and the whole notion of "winning" a foreign war has been called in to question. For example: just how would the Nazis effectively rule Scotland against its will, do you think?

we'd be living in a police state where large corporations work in tandem with the government to control and rule every aspects of the consumer's life.

discrimination against sexual preference, race & religion would be rife.

successive dictatorships (tory/labour, republican/democrat - none of which are true democratic choices) would wage wars of aggression on smaller countries with a single goal of obtaining natural resources for their corporate paymasters. (

.... hmmmm.... if looking at western society from the outside in, a rational person could be forgiven for thinking the nazis did actually win.

The Scotch Egg is about as Scottish as Scotch Tape i.e. not Scottish in the slightest. The London food shop Fortnum & Mason say they invented it. They didn't have Lager in the UK during the war, it was only introduced in the 1950s. (As if they'd want to drink a German beer anyway.)

Hard to say. On one I think Hitler would have seen the Catholic Church as threat to his own power & influence & would have tried to crush it. But on the other hand some of his closet allies like Mussolini, Franco & the Croatian fascist regime were deeply devoted Catholics & in some cases cooperating with them so I don't think he'd want to start another war.

They didn't even wait to run out of "other minorities" They already had a category of "Asocial" prisoners in the camps.

Its an interesting point to ponder though having established the apparatus to perform genocide on an industrial scale who would have been the next group of victims would have been.
